The park is out in the country and very quiet. It is fairly convenient to the St Louis metro area. It is approx 3 miles off the main road from the north off of Highway 61 taking U or 6 miles from the south taking P. Either way, some of the roads into the park are very narrow and curvy. As others have said the interior roads are in very poor shape, take it slow. We are here for a high school graduation in O’Fallon, MO and this is reasonable close and priced right. The $21.00 is based on the weekly rate. The owner is away but the first night we were here his son stopped by to be sure we had everything we needed. The laundry is reasonable at $1.25 for washer and dryer but the park relies on the RVers to keep it clean, so the machines were pretty dirty. Take antiseptic wipes or spray and paper towels. Most of the sites are on concrete and are pull through, there are a few sites on gravel. There are some permanents in this park. For a stay close to St Louis this is a great find. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

This park is a great one night stop or more if you are visiting or exploring Nacogdoches. $27.00 is Good Sam pricing. Sites are level and good sized. There seem to be some permanents, but other than some road noise the park is quiet. It is convenient to Highway 59 and easy to enter and exit. We’ve stayed here twice and will stay again if we are in the area. The park is located right next to the State Highway Patrol District Headquarters.

Good RV Park for overnight or longer if visiting the area. Several new sites since we were here last year. All sites are gravel but ours was pretty level. We didn’t notice any truck parking noise and we were in one of the sites close to the motel truck parking. Ole Sawmill Café has a buffet breakfast and we walked from the park to the restaurant. Food Giant has a large parking lot which we used to pick up ice on our way out. The owner is great, very helpful. This park is a little difficult to find (there is not an address for the park). I used the address for Ole Sawmill Café and our Garmin GPS took us right there. The park is well lighted at night and seems very secure. If you’re looking for entertainment this is not a park for you. If you are looking for an inexpensive overnight stay conveniently located on Highway I-40 just west of Memphis, TN: this is a great park. This is our second stay and we will stay again if we are in the area.
