Lucky Star Casino and RV Park, Concho, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: December, 2012
Overall Rating:

Free is good. Simple back in sites with full hook up. Need to watch if you need sewer as hook ups are between units so one side is fine other needs a lot of sewer hose. The casino gives you $10 for getting a players card. The food was great, and there was lots of it. For a stop over you can't do wrong. We camped at Lucky Star Casino and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Hollywood Casino RV Park, Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The sewer hookups do not accept a standard sewer connection. We had people cutting the grass (in December mind you) at 7:10 in the morning. This was not a good thing after getting back to the travel trailer at 1:30 am from their casino. The buffet was under staffed, and I carried plates for myself and other guests from one end of the buffet to the other more than once. Food on the buffet was short in supply and many areas had little or none. We have stayed here 3 different times, and this was the worst. We camped at Hollywood Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Waters Edge RV Resort (55+ park), Punta Gorda, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Park is around a pond, 1 mile walk around. We stayed for 1 month (960mo) residents all wave and say hi but beyond that you're part of the clicks. Not many park models but many lot "owned'. No true activities director, few planned events and some cancelled because there weren't enough "owners" attending. Airport right next door with small planes flying 200 feet over head all day long. We will look else where next year. They also add electric than a admin. charge of 6 bucks and then another charge of 6.25 for?. We camped at Waters Edge RV Resort (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Quail Run RV Resort, Wesley Chapel, Florida

Located next to I-75 lots of road noise. New clubhouse seems nice. Lot are big and nice. We didn't care for their activities much. Pot lucks were small as with other events. Thought price was high for area as not much to do within 20 miles. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great overnighter. Little cafe was very reasonable for dinner and breakfast (at 7:30) was good, fast, and cheap. They even filled the thermos free. As previously stated just flat gravel pull throughs with about 80 places to hook up. Very, very friendly staff and will stop again as we cross the US. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tinsley's RV Park, Weatherford, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Almost every site had a permanent trailer, guy next to us was drunk and had to move truck so we could get in. Site so narrow we couldn't set up, had to move out of site and connect with 50' extension cord. Dog waste everywhere. Absolutely no amenities at all! We didn't disconnect as were here for overnight only. Very old woman/owner has little to do with operation just takes the money. Never again here. We camped at Tinsley's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cocopah Bend RV and Golf Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Nice golf course, some activities, good hot tub and pool. Indian owned so little given up by owners. Christmas meal we supplied our own meat. Nothing free like socials etc. Lots of park models but the sites are real nice and wide with concrete slab to picnic on. Streets are all "one way" which is a pain to get to site without having to drive around. People were nice with some exceptions. Not a bad park with lots of farmland and dust around. Yuma offers little. We camped at Cocopah Bend RV and Golf Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Frog Creek RV Resort and Campground, Palmetto, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Older campground, sites are small and on main road. Sites offer slab and small table. The camp helpers make this park as there isn't much special about it. Almost every thing has a price on it. No free lunch, no potlucks and activities are average. Few permanent sites most folks are here for a month. Feb rate 800 bucks plus electric. Laundry is fair and dumpster is at one location in park. Location of park is not bad if you want to go to St. Petersburg and beaches. We may return but there are several other choices in area. Everything here is a drive nothing real close. We camped at Frog Creek RV Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Quail Run RV Resort, Wesley Chapel, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Older part of park like most others that have nothing but grass and a slab. New part (and growing with construction of new sites) is wonderful. There are huge slabs to park on, most back in with plenty of area to maneuver. The sewer is in two places so there is no need for a lot of hose. Each site has special water for washing RV and truck. Some freeway noise and a long walk to dumpsters. Campground folks provide several activities and offer some free lunch and are not nickel and dimeing you all the time. Laundry is adequate. We will go back but will watch prices as they are quite high for this area of Florida, you can do better in this area. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park), La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Grass and gravel park. Lots of birds, quiet, lots of bugs: can't imagine what the summer is like. Friendly staff. We would stay here again. Try the Chinese restaurant in town, it's really good. We stayed as a lay over, but stayed an extra day as golf in Island City was good and cheap! Good stay. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort (formerly Eagles Hot Lake RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Trailer Inns RV Parks, Bellevue, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is the worst we have EVER stayed in! They are closed on Mondays. They assigned us to an occupied site! The park has uneven parking lot spaces side by side with absolutely zero amenities. Do not stay here, don't have your friends stay here, life has to be better elsewhere!!! We camped at Trailer Inns RV Parks in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful park, clean and wonderful bath room and showers. Continental Breakfast supplied. All concrete slabs for rigs asphalt roads. Very, Very nice. Hwy 22 is a nasty road with a lot of traffic hard to exit from RV park (55 MPH). Wonderful semi-secure area without to much road noise. Will come here again! Logan Road RV Park, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a poorly engineered park with concrete slabs that are level but very close together. My biggest complaint other than the very limited space for the TV was the location of the sewer which were at the futherest back point of the site. In my case I would've needed 25'+ of hose to get close! The sites are not the same with some shorter and some longer but always with the sewer in the rear. Slabs were not level either. The casino has a wondeful breakfast and friday night buffet. Good size non-smoking area also. We camped at Logan Road RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bordertown Casino RV Resort, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet park next to a small but friendly casino, only about 100 machines. This is a really windy area, about 7 miles north of Reno. Good location on Hwy 395 to continue into northern California. Hosts were very nice and had propane on site and diesel. We camped at Bordertown Casino RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
