The Springs at Borrego RV Resort and Golf Course, Borrego Springs, California

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice small park on beautiful 9 hole golf course. Pads are spacious pull throughs and are kept immaculate by volunteer staff. Showers and washrooms are clean and modern. Pool is a little on the small side. Wi-Fi connections were inconsistent. Large clean laundry room. Friendly staff with daily activities. Very popular in Spring and we have stayed in their overflow lot which has the best view of all spots in the park. We camped at The Springs at Borrego RV Resort and Golf Course in a Travel Trailer.

The Palms RV Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the finest parks we have stayed at. The facilities are awesome. A large pool for swimming laps and a second large pool for others. They have billiards, shuffleboard, library with computers, card room, etc, etc. Staff are friendly. Activities include dances and pool party. Sites are spacious. As it is a new park the trees are small. We will be back in the future for one of the best bargains around. The sites are away from the highway which is a general problem in Yuma. Wi-Fi was spotty at the site but excellent in the pool complex. We camped at The Palms RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The Lakes RV & Golf Resort, Chowchilla, California

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This Resort is inside a gated community. You are given a electronic pass key to enter even when walking to the nearby golf course. The fee apparently gives one free golf, although we did not use this feature. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites are level and wide. This is one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed at. Signs directing you the park are poor but we will make this a regular stop here on our annual trip to California. We camped at The Lakes RV & Golf Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed three nights in a premium spot (near the pool and office). There are two large pools with lots of shade and enough lounge chairs. The washrooms are clean uni-sex with showers and toilets. WiFi is good but expensive ($5.95 for 24 hours) Park has a pitch and putt 18 hole course,(very short) but the greens are in bad shape. Garbage collection is daily. There is a large dog walk area. Staff are friendly and helpful. The park is an easy drive to the Strip and close to shopping. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
