We live close to this campground and will stay for a week sometimes even while still going to work. Great Tennessee River lake front sites and wonderful new playground for the children. New bathhouse are immaculate. The county has put a lot of money into this park, with sod, flowers and buildings. The only drawback is not having sewer hookups, but that's why I bought a tank tote, so that we can enjoy nice campgrounds that don't have all the conveniences. Interior paved roads. Great place to ride bikes. Woods abound in the Dallas Island section and less trees on the other sites, but all are great.

Excellent National Forest Campground located on the scenic Cherohala Skyway between Tellico Plains TN and Robbinsville NC. Electric hookups at all sites and water sources are available to share between many sites. Bring a long water hose and plan to use your DC pump for water in your camper. Great dammed 93 acre lake for your non motor boat or canoe. 15 miles from the nearest town. Absolutely beautiful views. My family will make this an annual trip. Restrooms/showers are very clean, but no heat or air. Water in showers is luke warm at best, but great for a national forest campground.

Good state park and beautiful scenery. We will be back.

We have stayed here 3 times on our way from Chattanooga TN to Santa Rosa Beach Florida. This is a wonderful city park, better maintained than most private campgrounds and state parks. Sites and whole campground well groomed and the staff are the most helpful of any campground we have ever stayed at. If we lived closer, we would make this a regular destination for a weekend trip.

Our favorite park in Fl. We have been here many times and will continue to do so. It was great when the campground was private but now with the access to beach through state preserve it is like campers have their own private beach. Wish they would build a bigger pool.

Date of Stay:

Excellent campground and close to all the attractions. Great shade trees and mostly paved interior roads with gravel sites. Highly recommend.

Campground is out in the country, but if you like solitude, it is good and reasonable. Last 1/4 mile road to campground is dirt road, but well kept. We stayed for 5 nights while visiting family, so didn't use facilities, but owners are extremely nice and try hard to keep areas nice and clean. Beautiful stream fed pond with trout. I would stay there again.

Date of Stay:

Nice owners and a beautiful view of Shenandoah Nat'l Park. Site was a bit tight to back in to. Some sites are being lengthened with railroad crosstie but have had no fill dirt added which caused problems trying to stabilize camper. They said they are intending to fill in soon, but should have given me a longer site. Extremely quiet camprgound and immaculate bathouse and laundry. Kid's playground needs some serious work and very run down versus picture on website. I would stay here again if in the area.

Date of Stay:

Extremely narrow county road (2.2 miles) to campground. Your in trouble if you meet someone, so beware. I don't know how TL gets their ratings, but campground could use a face lift. Ok for an overnighter, but wouldn' stay there again.

Date of Stay:

Nice park, dusty gravel roads. Excellent facilities and monthly campers are well kept. Campground close to attractions, but out of the way enough to be quiet.
