Country View RV Park, Hanceville, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I can't give an accurate review of all of the facility because we only needed a place to stay overnight. I only used the water and electricity. Despite going to the office 3 times to check in, we never saw the manager so we self registered. The entrance road is lined with older FEMA trailers, some occupied and some not. The site was reasonably level. There were no picnic tables at any of the sites that I could see. We didn't have to unhook the car. There were some low tree limbs on the exit. For our purpose, this site was okay but if your looking for a place to stay for a few days, you may want to go elsewhere. We camped at Country View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Missouri State Fair Campground, Sedalia, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park because of an event at the State Fairgrounds that lasted for a few days. For this purpose, the RV park was ok. This is basiclly a field with RV hook ups which is ok for what we needed. Hook ups were a little difficult to reach. Our sewer pipe was under the RV by the steps. A light pole was in the way of proper parking. We had to cross a shallow ditch to get to our site. We really had to take up 2 sites but no-one seemed to care. Not recommended unless you are attending an event at the fairgrounds. We camped in a motorhome towing a 12' trailer. We camped at Missouri State Fair Campground in a Motorhome.

Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort, Jasper, Arkansas

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent RV park if you are into riding motorbikes down empty twistiest and sweepers. At the time we stayed, there was very little activity in the area. The campground was very quiet, shaded and piece-full. The owners were pleasant and helpful although no help was really needed. The pull through site we had was large and easy to get to with our 31' C class towing a 12' trailer. Larger buses may have a little difficulty maneuvering. I will be back. We camped at Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort in a Motorhome.

Carol's Campsite and RV Park, Sudbury, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was OK for our one night stay. We didn't have reservations. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice preteen young lady who had to make a few phone calls to find out if they could squeeze us in. Her and the manager were willing to do what it took to get us in and settled. The site was OK but the hook ups were a little shaky. The 30 amp plug was hanging by wire inside broken conduit. I shared water with a neighbor via a Y piece. The lake water was clean but the dock area had plenty of trash near the dock. We camped at Carol's Campsite and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Raccoon River Campground, Panama City Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights with no issues. The campground's infrastructure is old and could use improvement but is not a must. Lots of shaded lots. Lots of sandy ground around the pads. No breakers on the 50 amp service at our site. Big dips and holes in the driveways. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute drive to all the glitz. Front office eager to please. We used our own RV facilities so I couldn't say how the restrooms are. We camped at Raccoon River Campground in a Motorhome.

Bay Berry RV Park, Gulfport, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a convenient campground for those that want to stay the night or for those that have other things to do. It's not a place for the family to have fun unless the fun is outside of the campground. Although it is across the street from a Love's truck stop, the traffic and noise was not a bother to me. The grounds were well kept. We did not use the laundry or bathhouse. We camped at Bay Berry RV Park in a Motorhome.

DeSoto Resort State Park, Fort Payne, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We camped in the new section that had very large sites. This park has lots of easy hiking trails that lead to creeks and water falls. The downfalls include unlevel sites, distant trash dumpsters and a front office staff that had no interest in listening to the wishes of the customer. We were told on the phone this was first come first serve. When we arrived we were told the sites are assigned prior to arrival. We camped at DeSoto Resort State Park in a Motorhome.
