Boardman Marina Park, Boardman, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at Boardman for 4 nights and loved this park. We stayed in site 54 which was away from the water but we had a peak of the water. Loved the shade trees in the 80+ weather. Pretty green grass everywhere. The sites were not close together unless you were near the water but there still was more room between sites than other RV parks. There are train tracks nearby but the trains didn't blow their horns and the sounds of the trains going by were barely noticeable. The park is next door to the marina which has a boat launch, playground, picnic areas and swimming area. There is a walking trail around the RV park which goes for about 3 miles. My only complaint is that there isn't an easy way to get on the trail unless you walk out of the RV park or cut through the large open areas between sites. There isn't a lot to do in the area except the Sage Center was really nice to visit especially for kids. There is a splash park in Boardman but we didn't have any luck in figuring out when it actually was running. Great place to get away from it all and we will be back. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Motorhome.

Go to the Sage Center and the marina next door. Pendleton is about 1 hour away and it is a neat little town. We ate at the Prodigal Son in Pendleton and the food was great.

Olympic Peninsula / Port Angeles KOA, Port Angeles, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at the KOA for 3 nights. There are new owners here and they are continually working to make this place even better than it is now. We stayed in the section that had been spruced up and it was very nice. We had a view of the Olympics each day and the sites are a nice distance apart. We camped at Olympic Peninsula / Port Angeles KOA in a Motorhome.

Point Hudson Resort & Marina, Port Townsend, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in site 311. We parked facing the water so it put our hookups on the opposite side. It worked well for us because it gave us a great view. It was windy and stormy and it was fabulous. The park isn't fancy by any means but you can't beat the view. There is a laundry room and shower area. Full hookups throughout. You can walk to town from here, catch a ferry to the fort and just explore this beautiful area. If you're looking for a lot of resort amenities this isn't for you. If you want R&R this is a great place. We camped at Point Hudson Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Kenanna RV Park, Grayland, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

First time camping here in 10+ years. The RV park is spacious and spread out. They have rustic camping cabins, tent and RV sites. They are new owners and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The camp host opened up the office on 2 occasions after hours to get us change for the showers and to get us some Tylenol for my daughter. The park is close to Westport and Ocean Shores. The park is quiet and very family oriented. The park isn't glamorous, no pool or ocean view. I would camp here again because of the value and the way they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and well cared for. Water is yellow due to Maganese but was fine for showers and dishes. If they could open up the trail to the beach like in the past, this park would be super awesome! We camped at Kenanna RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

About a 20 minute drive into Westport and about an hour to Ocean Shores. You can get to the beach through the State Park. The RV park no longer has a trail to the beach which is unfortunate.

South Prairie Creek RV Park, South Prairie, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for multiple months working in the area. The management is good and really looks out for the people in the park. There are some overnight sites but mostly for long termers. The park was recently flooded in the big rains but the management is working hard to get everything back in working order. We have enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this park. We camped at South Prairie Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Point Hudson Resort & Marina, Port Townsend, Washington

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very scenic RV park. Not alot of amenities but you can't beat the view. We stayed for several days here. You can walk to the shops and restaurants in Port Townsend from the RV park. Very relaxing and enjoyable. They do have 50 amps but not in all sites, you have to ask for them when you make reservations. Don't expect alot of luxury here but you can't beat the view. We camped at Point Hudson Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.
