Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is in the pine forest, great interior road. Owner and staff are friendly and very helpful, make you feel at home. Free computers use with T-1 feed and speed along with WiFi. Hiking to the hill top offer fantastic view of the Colorado east plain. Great location to see Colorado springs attraction. This is one of the few campground offer booking on a specific site, since all the sites are unique due to the forest setting. Nice web site to check out before booking. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is the short term stay park among the two own by Sam's Town Casino. It is across from the new Wal-Mart on Boulder Highway. The campground is OK for the price. We need long 65 feet space when we visited Las Vegas. Clean concrete parking lot style campground. Easy access to Sam's Town casino & restaurants. Ask for restaurant discount coupon when you sign in. The sewer well hook up is share with your neighbor. It is not a tight seal design and not odor free. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

A-Bar-A RV Park & Storage Facility, Marana, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We camp here in the summer of June for 10 days, temperature in the area was hot at 105° F day time and 77° F at night. The park had lot of spaces left and many working residences in the summer. It is not your ideal camping experience; but for us as RV full timer and needed to see doctors in the area is great. They honor Passport American 50% rate the whole summer, so we paid only $10 a day included electricity to power our two airs. It is right by I-10 easy on / off with train run along the park and the interstate. We camped at A-Bar-A RV Park & Storage Facility in a Fifth Wheel.

Cal Expo RV Park, Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

It is a spacious, gravel and concrete parking lots style campground. It is a good park for conveniences. Right in the center of Sacramento. Price is not bad for our monthly rate, although they had raised it from $480 to $550 with electricity a month in the past year. Great location for July 4th and California Fair week. The area is present and easy access to bicycle, walking trail, restaurants and mall. We camped at Cal Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Allatoona Landing Campground, Cartersville, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2004 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We were camping there from 2002 to 2004. Almost two years time frame. It is a nice campground with a lot of tall pine trees. Cell phone works good, no WiFi at the time. Rain quite often and could get muddy and wet. It is 5 miles from I-75. No problem with dog, some long term residents with family, people are very nice. We were at monthly rate for $350 w/o sewer, $450 with sewer. Due to the high water table, less than one third of the lots has sewer. Lots w/o sewer can run gray hose to nearby gray well. Black pump out service available on a weekly basis for $8. It is a nice park to stay a while. There are civil war attraction close by. We camped at Allatoona Landing Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
