Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort, Hinckley, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $25.00

Only negative is that the sites are very close together, your neighbors fire rings are much to close to your rig and all the sites are back in could be fifficult for large rigs. We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand View Cafe & RV Park, Glacier View, Alaska

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a gem of a campground. The sites are spaced with care, the view of the mountains is unbelievable. The small restaurant has great food. The owner takes personal care of the grounds and appreciates your business. We will return on our way back from Alaska. We camped at Grand View Cafe & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hi Country RV Park, Whitehorse, Yukon

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a 10 for the Yukon. Sites level and wide carved out in a spruce forest. The showers are the cleanest and brightest that I have ever seen at a CG. The cable WORKS with 60 plus channels. The WiFi WORKS with a very strong signal. Good rules, laundry is immaculate, good store no problems with the power. We will return on our way back home. We camped at Hi Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Balzac Campground RV Park and Storage (formerly Whispering Spruce Camp, Balzac, Alberta

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This place is the absolute pits. We needed to stop because of mileage and the fact that there are no other CG in the vicinity. They gave me a dangerous site that was between two of their permanent residents. Do not stay here if you value your safety. The sites are all mud and far from level. The staff was indifferent to the state of their park. Avoid at all cost. We camped at Balzac Campground RV Park and Storage (formerly Whispering Spruce Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Roughrider Campground, Minot, North Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

There are not many choices in this area. This RV park is more like a housing area for the locals. Loaded with RV's that are trying to be long-term housing. Sites are narrow and very soft. Was not worth the money at all. Could not wait to leave. Would NEVER return. We camped at Roughrider Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Best $15 site that I have had in a long time. Use of the hotel pool and hot tub included. Be careful the GPS was 15 miles off. We would return if in the area again. We camped at Island Resort Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island KOA, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Staff is friendly. Hookups are strange, depending on the site the sewer is extremely close, while the power is very far away. In fact we had a 30 amp site and needed to put two cords together to reach power. The campground does not supply the shuttle to the ferry, they call the ferry and they send their shuttle out to pick you up. The site had enough room for slide outs grass is really worn away from over use. Location is good to all tourist areas. We camped at Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Emmett KOA, Emmett, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older KOA. Our site was crushed rock and pretty level. The CG is about 4 miles from the interstate, closest grocery store is about 12 miles away. I think the CG is over priced: many empty sites. Staff is friendly and you get an escort to the site. The lake is very green with weeds. We would not attempt a swim even though it was pretty warm. We stayed here because it was the closest CG to end our daily drive. Ok for 1 or 2 nights. We camped at Emmett KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

King Waldorf's Tent and Trailer Park, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We had a river front site, #1 which was just beautiful, but the rest of the CG is very run down from over use. The bathrooms and showers were always wet and dirty. I think the showers and bathrooms are inadequate for the number of people there. Desk people are friendly, only 3 miles from downtown Niagara Falls. Probably would not return in the future. We camped at King Waldorf's Tent and Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.
