We were really pleased with our stay to Mustang Island. The view of the ocean was breathtaking. I was pleased with the security. You had to pass them in order to enter the park. I was concerned that the showers did not have separate doors. I felt that anyone could walk in on you. Over all we were pleased with the sites, covered picnic areas, and ocean access. We were right near the ocean. Waking up to the sound of waves hitting was fantastic.

The only problem that I had with KOA Waco was it being kid friendly. The playground was excellent, but a pond surrounds it. I was so afraid my 2 year old niece would get away from me and jump in. The game room was also missing. I can say the restroom and showers were excellent. I was really impressed by the cleanliness.

We were pleased with Tall Pines in July of last year when KOA was still involved. During our recent visit in April, we were greatly disappointed. We were refused access to stay because of the lady telling us four people to camp site. Well your website says six. I personally didn't like the fact that Tall Pines is not kid friendly. My mom and dad wanted to stay with 3 kids and were told no. The lady was friendly about it but still. An RV Park is for children too!
