Forest Country RV Park, Nacogdoches, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The new owner of this park lives onsite and is very nice. The price includes free excellent wifi and many cable channels. 50 amp service. Easy access from the road, level sites. Very clean grounds, well cared for. Call for directions the gps will take you to the wrong location. The park is close to the road, some noise but not excessive. My bedroom fan cancels the noise which slows down at night. We stayed three nights, felt very safe and would definetly stay here again. There are some long term trailers, but no messes. Nice place to walk the pets. We camped at Forest Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

The 30amp sites are back in's along the San Marcos River and are very nice with some shade trees. A lovely little fishing pond on site. Lots of grassy area, all sites have a good picnic table. A good laundry room with pleasant sitting area outside on a covered porch. Lots to see and do within an hour. The 50amp sites are mostly pull through's. Good roads. We camped at RiverBend RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Very helpful and friendly owners. Level sites. The road into the park has several places that need fill. While we were there gravel was brought in to fill some of the deep places, but more is needed. We stayed three nights in a motor home. We camped at West End RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rose RV Park (Formerly Brown's RV Park), Enid, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

The park is directly off of the main travel street through town. There is road noise that quiets down in the late evening. Many full time folks here. The ground is littered. The sites are level with 4 cement pads and several gravel pads. The owners were away the two days we were there and we paid through a drop box. There are nice parks nearby and the town of Enid is interesting. An easy in and out for a one stay. We camped at Rose RV Park (Formerly Brown's RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Ajax Country Livin' RV Park at I-49, Marthaville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

The new owners of this park are very friendly and helpful. The Mrs. came out one evening and gave us fresh homemade cake. The sites are grassy and spacious. It is easy access to the highway. There is a logging operation across the street that starts at 7am and ends at 3:30pm so it is quiet in the evening. There are several historical towns close by. There is a lovely pond on site. Clean and well kept. We stayed here in a motor home for 6 nights. We camped at Ajax Country Livin' RV Park at I-49 in a Motorhome.
