Natural Chimneys Regional Park, Mount Solon, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Enjoyed our camping experience at Natural Chimneys very much. Campgrounds were clean and well kept. Bathrooms are old but kept clean and freshly painted. There are several hiking trails. The beauty of the Chimneys was awesome. We hope to return there many times. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We camped at Natural Chimneys Regional Park in a Tent Trailer.

Stoney Creek Resort, Greenville, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Needs much improvement. Campgrounds are in very much need of updates. The roads into and around the thecampgrouns are narrow and have many potholes. They had only 2 bathrooms open and no bath houses opened for showers. If the campgrounds open April 1st. for camping, they should have everything open and ready to go. Fire pits ( old car or truck rims) are small. No open fire cooking can be done on them. Picnic tables are split and in bad shape. Stoney Creek Resort needs to get with the program. Will not waste our time or money there again. We camped at Stoney Creek Resort in a Tent Trailer.
