Fidalgo Bay Resort, Anacortes, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Campsites are narrow, gravel, level, with grass between. Driveways potholed and dusty. Views from waterfront sites wonderful. Hook-ups at waterfront sites designed for motorhomes. Refinery close by makes some noise at night. Waterfront sites are very pricey in season. We stay off-season for reduced rates. We plan to continue our visits. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Midway RV Park, Centralia, Washington

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Sadly, this RV park, which we have visited for many years, has declined. From a pristine, meticulously-kept property, it has allowed more and more long-termers, with a lot of junk collected on their sites, to take up residence here. In the past, even seasonals were mandated to keep their sites free of anything that looked permanent. We will continue to visit, really hoping things improve. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort (55+ park), El Mirage, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Pueblo El Mirage five weeks in February and March. Spaces are large, dusty, gravelled, with a concrete patio. We like the amenities, and excellent variety of acivities. However, there was no hot water for the washing machines, and many out of order signs posted. Industrial area next door had loud clanging noises at 5:oo AM many mornings. Wi-Fi at site is costly and poor quality. Free Wi-Fi in main building is not accommodating to the numbers of users it gets. This was our second year. We will likely return, despite these issues. We camped at Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
