Great Family Park. Camped here during Memorial Day Weekend and it was very busy but Campground Staff were constantly around and friendly. We were looking for another local campground and we found it. We are actually going back this July. Sites can be difficult to back into but the staff will work with you to find your best option. Only advice I would give to owners is to water the roads every once in a while, it got very dusty at times. Will definitely go back again and again.

Camped here for the last 5 years and enjoyed our stay. CG is around 40 minutes to Acadia NP, but was worth the commute, NOT ANYMORE!!! We had booked our site in April and asked for a specific site, they said it was booked and we moved on, but while there the site we requested was never full. When we arrived, pouring rain on Sunday afternoon, we were never told about a "Boil Water Order" that was in place. Went to use the restroom after waiting an hour for the rain to slow, noticed the order, went to the office which was closed (only open 8-5) and got the attention of the woman still in the office. After finally getting her to open the door, was greeted rudely with "I have been using it all week and my dog has been drinking it, everything is FINE!" We actually spoke to someone who had called earlier in the day to inquire about a site and they were never told about the notice as well. They checked in after 5pm and had a sheet of paper notifying them about the notice, but no verbal notice when calling that day. We decided we would still give it a chance until I decided to take a shower at the CG facilities and it wasn't terrible until the hot water ran out after approx 4 minutes of a shower. Had to finish in ice cold water. As stated earlier, we camped here the last five years and really enjoyed it but we will not be going back. Over this last off season it was bought out by a Corporation and is not worth the time.

Wonderful campground with river front sites. Great for families. Grassy sites with ample room and our fireplace overlooked the river. Many of the sites have the White River flowing directly behind the site, and the campground allows tubing down the river. Would have given a 10, but the office only sold Ice and fire wood. Will definitely camp here again and would recommend to anybody looking for a quiet campground in a central location, that is great for families.

Camped during Memorial Day Weekend. Roads were gravel and not very well taken care of, lots of ruts and holes. Campground is a MUDDY place after a rain storm. Kids allowed to run free around campground. Only visited Bathroom at Pavillion before leaving, it was in pretty rough shape. Plenty of activities for kids and families. People around Campground and Staff were friendly

Camped during school April Vacation. Many things not available because they had not started their summer season yet. Staff was extremely friendly and the views from the campground were spectacular. Bathrooms had opened during our stay and seemed clean after the winter shut down. Only negative would be NO television reception, couldn't even get news. Would definitely camp here again. Would maybe think about going during summer season, rather then off season.

Camped here for a weekend early in the season. Stopped by before they were open and the staff was very friendly. They gave us a map of available sites for that weekend and we got to drive around and choose our site. Would definitely stay here again. No longer a KOA, gave it up in good standing to try it on their own.
