Excellent family campground. The staff was super friendly and they only had 2 seasonal sites. It really offered something for all types of campers as I saw many tents, pop ups, TT's and coaches here. It is only 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville. My only complaint (not the fault of the campground) is that my Verizon Cell phone just could not get service here.

Arrived here late and they had our reservations waiting for us. The site was tight trying to back in my new TT but once we were settled, it was a nice, quiet campground. Great services like Wifi and cable television. A few too many seasonals but they kept the night campers away from most of the seasonal sites. Staff was friendly and we were there with another family in the site right next to us so that made it more fun.

This campground is under new extremely friendly management. There are some great activities for kids however the management will nickel and dime you on most of them ($2/day to use the pool slide). Pool is free. The site that I stayed in was great and was shaded with free wifi, free trash pickup, and free cable television. Management assures me that for every 2 sites now, the future will be only 1 site so the sites will become large. I think that this is a great place to stay with hiking on the appalachian trail just minutes from the site and a very nice Wal Mart/Lowes not too far as well. I would highly recommend this campground for all RV'ers.
