Mountain Pines Campground (formerly Mountain Pines RV Resort), Champion, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Too many golf carts! A lot of seasonals with all the kitschy decorations you would expect. Too many young kids driving golf carts just like you would expect unsupervised teens to do. Last minute reservation for us, never again. We camped at Mountain Pines Campground (formerly Mountain Pines RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

A great Park for the money. As in all real estate the three most important things are location, location, and location! If the DC area is your destination this is the park..You get what you pay for and this park delivers. We camped at Cherry Hill Park in a Motorhome.

Elkhart Co. / Middlebury Exit KOA, Middlebury, Indiana

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a football weekend at Notre Dame. Campground is 30 miles from campus and very convenient to many of the local RV Factories and the RV Hall of Fame. Not the newest or the nicest KOA I have been in but it was clean; easy to maneuver my rig through, owners and staff were very helpful and nice to deal with. Sites were spacious and all hookups on the same side, level gravel sites. Previous reviewers don't seem to be all that objective. I found it to be a very nice experience and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Elkhart Co. / Middlebury Exit KOA in a Motorhome.

This was our second stay here. The sites are large and easy to exit and enter. The couple who checked us in were very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Fort Bellefonte is a great campground to explore the area and all that Penn State has to offer. We camped at Gram and Pap's Fort Bellefonte Campground in a Motorhome.
