Dunes Harbor is a brand new campground in the Silver Lake area located approximately 1 mile from the Dunes ORV Entrance and perhaps 1.5 miles from Silver Lake State Park itself. The facility is owned and operated by Grace Adventures - A Christian camp and training center in Western Michigan. This park is brand new, having opened Memorial Day 2016 with restrooms & shower facilities that are spotlessly maintained. We had a 30 amp full hookup site (#10) which backed up to Lake Holiday and had partial shade in the back of the site, but also allowed for excellent satellite reception. The site itself was gravel and very level with a concrete patio and picnic table. The interior roads of the campground were gravel as well but very well graded and spacious providing easy navigation for any size camping unit. There was a large field in the middle of the property which was used for children's games, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, children's playground, a resort style pool with water slide and separate splash area for small children. The main building had a small store as well as a separate Ice Cream Parlor that was open late afternoons to early evening. The weekend we were there was "Western Weekend" with various activities centered on a western theme for the whole family. On Saturday evening they offered hay rides on a wagon pulled by two horses. We decided to try this campground as several other campgrounds in the area were booked for the weekend we wanted. We were very happy with our decision and would highly recommend this property.

This campground does not have a lot of amenities, and some of the sites can be hard to back into depending on your unit. We stayed in site #21 and had no trouble backing in. The site itself is paved, and is fairly level. Overall the campground is clean, although the facilities are older. Can't beat the location if you are going to the Stephen Foster Story play. As others have mentioned the hook ups can be a challenge, and it is only water and electric. Overall, we would certainly stay here again.

Excellent Park. We were lucky to have one of the sites with shade: #5. Restrooms were spotless. Sites were spacious with level pad and paved picnic area. Gave it a 9 because construction still going on. Once everything is finished I'm sure this will be a 10! Proximity to the beach is excellent. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Winton Woods has recently completed their renovations, and have added 39 full hookup sites. Sites 14F - 25F get shade in the morning, while Sites 1F - 13F get shade in the evening. The pull through sites 1R - 12R are primarily in the sun. The back in, full hook up sites have gravel pads, with a concrete patio for the picnic table. There are also 12 pull through sites to accommodate the larger RV's with concrete pad and patio. The remainder of the campground consists of 68 electric sites with gravel pads, and are for the most part well shaded. In addition they have 10 Camping Cabins, and 8 Deluxe Cabins. Bathrooms are clean, but given the size of the campground are a little undersized. The campground has a new camp store that has the basic essentials and in addition provides coffee, pizza and hand dipped ice cream. The campground has also added a new playground and pavilion. Overall this is a nice campground conveniently situated in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati. Very family oriented especially on the weekends. Over all this is a nice park that we will stay at again!

Park now KOA, and was very clean and well landscaped. We camped over Memorial Day weekend and they had several programs (movie, magician, ice cream social, hay ride) available over the course of the weekend. Rest rooms were very clean. Stayed in site 002, which was a pull through site with water and electric. Site was very nice and shaded. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Rates reflective of Holiday Weekend pricing.

This is a brand new campground as outlined in previous posts, and I think will be open one year this upcoming Memorial Day (5/09). I think the facility certainly has potential. Given the newness of the facility the only drawback that I see is the fact that many of the sites are without shade. Rest Rooms and showers were very clean and spacious. Camp store as outlined in previous posts was somewhat sparse. Overall a very nice facility. For those interested in the casino, there is a shuttle service that will pick you up right at your campsite.
