Volunteer Park Family Campground, Heiskell, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Pull-through sites are not very level. Sites were only 30 amp. Water hookup was situated in toward front of RV. They are not part of Passport America and owner was rude when asked about it. We camped at Volunteer Park Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Clean pretty park with level parking pads and a nice pool with hot tub. Park could use more trash containers for dog waste. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Mill Creek Campground & RV Park, Paxico, Kansas

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was very nice, well run with friendly hosts. Railroad runs until about 10:00 PM, and only short runs of cars. The town of Paxico is cool and is worth checking out when camping here. We camped at Mill Creek Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Garden of the Gods Campground, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has a pool, but it was not available. The hot water for showers had to be left on for a long time to get any warm water at all. Management did not have an answer except to run water. WiFi is free only on an office computer, other wise it is $3.95 a day. Overall I feel if they are going charge full price for sites, they should have everything available to use. (No pool.) We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Waldena Resort, Silver Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is very pretty, well maintained, and staff was very helpful and friendly. The lake is beautiful, however the only thing this park is lacking is a pool. If they installed a pool at this park it would rate above a "10" We camped at Lake Waldena Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Manatee Springs State Park, Chiefland, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $16.00

The park is nice, with deer roaming freely through out park. The roads to campsites are a little narrow but can be traveled being careful. Springs were closed due to river flooding. We camped at Manatee Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.
