Munising Tourist Park Campground, Munising, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We had weak electric 108 volts on 30 amp without a load on the service. We stayed here for two nights, but doubt if we would stay here again unless it was an emergency stop. We camped at Munising Tourist Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Oakwood RV Park, Clear Lake, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Super friendly owners. Building for rallies poor. Good electricity and water in this park. There are plenty of open sites for internet satellite usage. Ask for big pull thru sites in the upper level. We camped at Oakwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Crystal Lake Campground, Strum, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

This city-owned park is next door to the Viking Golf Course in Strum, WI. It has added some new sites in the last year. The new sites are not blacktop as listed in an earlier post. There is a blacktop loop to drive through the new site area. Electricity on the 50 amp sites has low voltage. There are lots of piles of goose droppings as there is a large flock of geese that make this park their home. Several of the sites are open to the sky and you can use your satellite dish. Even with the low voltage and goose waste, we will be back again in 2008. We camped at Crystal Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
