Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is the first time we have stayed this park but it will not be our last. Park is kept beautifully and the staff is very friendly, courteous and yet professional. They are very helpful when a problem occurs. Access to Memphis is quick and easy and access to the park from either I-40 or I-55 is very easy. I highly recommend this park for an excellent visit to the area. Tunica and all of the casinos are also only about a 30 min drive from here. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Maverick Ranch RV Park at Lajitas Resort, Lajitas, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The park is under new management, and they are working hard on improvements. The staff is very friendly and helpful and even helped me make some repairs on my rig. The park is located at the head of the River Road which is said to be the most scenic drive in Texas, and my wife and I agree. It is only a 30 minute drive from the headquarters of Big Bend National park and just down the road from the HQ for Big Bend State Park. We would recommend this park to anyone but would suggest early Spring when all of the flowers are in full bloom. They have a very nice pool also! We camped at Maverick Ranch RV Park at Lajitas Resort in a Motorhome.

Cutty's Hayden Creek Resort, Coaldale, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park but it needs work before it is big rig friendly. Most roads need trees trimmed in order for large 5th wheels and Class A motor homes to get in and out. We had to do some very tight and complicated maneuvers in order to get out without tearing up our rigs. The staff is very friendly and helpful except when it came to trimming. We requested a couple days before to get the trees trimmed so we could get out but they would not do it and we had to do the afore mentioned maneuvers in order to get out. It is a great place for smaller rigs 36' or shorter. If they would trim the trees and make the roads clearance better I would readily recommend this park but, until they do, big rigs be very careful!! We camped at Cutty's Hayden Creek Resort in a Motorhome.

Doll Mountain Campground COE, Oakman, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is the nicest Core Of Engineers Campground I have ever been in. They have just finished reworking all of the sites and have done a wonderful job with very level concrete pads and our site had a wooden deck overlooking the lake. Any one visiting this COE campground should visit Helen, Ga, as this is a wonderful town fashioned after a small Bavarian Village. We camped at Doll Mountain Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Treasure Lake is an excellent park. They have started reworking their sites with stone support walls and concrete pads. Great service, friendly staff and security in park at all times. Located just off the Show Blvd with quick access to all the shows and only 15 or 20 minutes from Silver Dollar City. I am returning there next year.
