Sommerville Almond Tree RV Park, Coalinga, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Just needed a place to stay- Paso Robles is crazy $$$. Adds a hour to our run to Morro Bay tomorrow, but well worth it. Simple, night stay...good power & clean bathrooms. For one night it worked well for us. We camped at Sommerville Almond Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.

Coachland RV Park, Truckee, California

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 5 years ago- and it's even better. Very clean well run park. Huge dog parks. Tall trees all around. Smells great! They lost a star because the sites are so close. I could pass a cup of coffee threw my window to the rig next to us. Less then 1/2 the sites have 50 amps. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great place for a nite or 2. Called the night before, & asked for a pull thru, with No trees. Arrived, they met us at the coach & escorted us to our site. Then he wanted to make sure I understood the FHUs and where they were. The park is old, but very clean. WiFi was super good. We will stay here again. We camped at Shady Lane RV Camp in a Motorhome.

OK for overnight- was very crowded, sites are very close together. Power & cable were fine. No more shuttle to the casino, they have a trail, but its a good walk. You can boondock within 1/2 mile... We camped at Blue Water Marine RV park in a Motorhome.

Pirate Cove RV Resort & Marina, Needles, California

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

I should say, we stayed here in the "off" season, Mid week and the park was pretty empty. We stayed in a river ft site, Plenty of room great full hookups out in the middle of nowhere! Very quite stay for us, you can hear the trains off in the distance but not a problem. They offer a shuttle service to get you from your site to the store or bar/restaurant. We would stay here again- but not on a weekend or busy season- Looks like it would be crazy!!! We camped at Pirate Cove RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Good place for a overnighter on the 5. Lot's of fuel and food close by. Level pull thru. Plenty of power & cable. Sites are close together, couldn't open the awning... But when you need to rest, this a great value. Fair amount of liveaboards but the sites were kept clean, We would stay again. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice state park right off the 5. Very clean, well run park. A couple of the loops were closed for the winter, We were on D loop pretty close to the river. Large pull thru sites get take quickly, but for $8.00 you can reserve one. No wiFi/cable or OTA, nice... Great place to stay a week or over night. We will be back! Southern Oregon RV Park (Jackson County Park), Central Point, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park looks new- No trees but grass in between the sites. 60' std pull thru or 75' back in sites that are level and grass in between them. Restrooms were spotless! Saw quite a few folks fishing in the ponds. We had trouble finding the entrance, it's by gate 5 of the fairgrounds. Easy on/off Hiway 5, but not too much noise. Great place to stay over night on the way home. We would stay here again. We camped at Southern Oregon RV Park (Jackson County Park) in a Motorhome.

Boise Riverside RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

HOT! We stayed 1 night on our way to Bend. It worked for us. Flat, level, dusty. Satellite friendly as there is hardly any shade. 50Amp was strong, and so was our wifi. Too hot & tired to use the greenbelt. Huge Fed Meyer store close by. Almost anything you could want, and then some. A ways off the 84 for a RON. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

A older park outside of town so its very quite. We got a large level site with shade trees. Cable tv was good and the wifi worked great for us. Pretty views surround the park. We stayed here 2 nights while we explored the area. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Carbondale / Crystal River KOA, Carbondale, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Check in was ok. Thought we were getting river front, but there was a problem. Got a nice, big, level, kind of shady pull thru. Very nice park next to the river. Well kept, nice staff. Newer restrooms & showers. No dump at sites but they have honey wagon service available if your booked for 3 nights. Very nice service. We didn't swim but lots of folks used the pool. Lots of road noise during the day, but very little traffic at night. We would stay here again. We camped at Carbondale / Crystal River KOA in a Motorhome.

Rawlins KOA, Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We spent the night-checkin was fast and easy. The took us to our site, which was pretty easy cause very few rigs were parked. The next morning it was packed! I got out only because the trailer across from us left before us. Level gravel pads with a cement patio with a table & 2 sided wind break which was very helpful cause it was WINDY! Nice laundry, open 24 hrs. Ok for an overnighter. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.
