Lake City Campground & Resort, Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is the 2nd time here as we forgot how bad it was the first time. This is love bug season and we could not even use the hose to wash the windshield. Told it costs too much to chlorinate the water. Neither my husband nor I can climb a ladder so we have to leave with bugs on the windshield. Water pressure is very bad. I guess because she doesn't want to spend a few bucks on Chlorine. Wifi did not work. I wonder how all the live ins deal with this. Will never stay here again. Not too many good campgrounds in Florida along i-10, but some are better than this. We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Bella Terra RV Resort, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is the friendliest and cleanest park in this area. Guests are treated just like homeowners. They are truly glad you are here. I want to commend the staff on the way they handled the recent flood. They did everything they could to keep everyone informed as to what was happening. The first email went out at 4:30 am. When they could, the electric company was on scene making sure we could leave elec. on. Extra pumps were brought in by mid morning, the water was tested quickly to assure we could drink it, and cable and wifi was restored in short order. They made a serious condition bare able. Thank you, park workers. Best park ever. Will be back for the winter. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

D & W Lake Camping and RV Park, Champaign, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. We full time therefore we stay in a lot of campgrounds and this is one we really like. The owners are great, the campground is very clean and the owners are always visible. They are constantly riding around the park, collecting trash and making sure everything is going well. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful. They even have soft water. We will stay here again and hopefully longer next time. Easy on and off interstate yet you don't hear the traffic. It is a very peaceful place. We camped at D & W Lake Camping and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park, Sturbridge, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

This is the worst campground I have ever stayed in in the 6 years I have been full timing. The person who checked us in told us to go down this road and it's the first site. Couldn't get in because there were private cars parked in it. Went into the next site and had to move over from the hookups because there was a car and picnic tables in the site. After we got hooked up we realized that two RV's should have been in the same space. We went to office and told them why we were taking up two spaces. They said just stay there. We paid $52 for 30 amp, no sewer and people walking thru our campsite. It was a very unpleasant experience. Wouldn't recommend this campground to anyone in any size RV. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Whittington Woods Campground, Whittington, Illinois

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is now called Whittington Woods. It has been taken over by new owners and they are doing a great job fixing it up. It is a great campground to just spend the night or stay awhile. Pool is being overhauled. Easy on and off of I-57. Have stayed here many times in the past, but it is getting nicer due to the new owners. They are great and very helpful We camped at Whittington Woods Campground in a Motorhome.
