Basswood Resort, Platte City, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. If you have children, there are a ton of things for them to do. Bathrooms/showers were excellent, sites were wide and long. Wi-Fi didn't work, barely a signal, even with my Verizon card I could only get 1 bar. The surrounding country side is beautiful and the staff were very friendly. We would stay here again. We camped at Basswood Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Sundermeier RV Park, Saint Charles, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

This park is pricey. The grounds really need attention and the lady that checked us in was very rude and that always sets the tone for the review. The bathroom/showers were well kept. There is a restaurant and pub on the site and it was OK. staff was attentive. Sites were long & wide and had concrete pads. Rough part of town, but we felt safe. We would stay here again. We camped at Sundermeier RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just an overnight stay for us, way off the beaten path, by the time you wind through the very hilly entrance, you are steps from the freeway. Nice big pull throughs, friendly folks. We camped at Washington / Pittsburgh SW KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Gram and Pap's Fort Bellefonte Campground, Bellefonte, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park has nice pull throughs. Most only 30 AMP but adequate for AC. It was labor day and the 1st Penn State game, so it was packed. Only 1 small bathroom to accommodate that many people is inadequate. They did bring porta-pottys in for the football season, but showers were never clean just because of the volume of people using them. We would stay here again, just not during Penn State football games although it was a lot of fun. We camped at Gram and Pap's Fort Bellefonte Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Schaun Acres Campground, Oberlin, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We only camped here because we were attending a wedding. Lot's of really strange people living throughout the park, loud, rowdy etc. The showers were disgusting and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in sometime. The sites were big, but our 30 amp service kept tripping. My husband did use the pool and he said it was real nice and kept up. We would never stay here again. I am only guessing on the amount of sites, most of the sites are permanent, the ones out front are for transients, there could be about 30 of those. We camped at Schaun Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Hickory Hollow Campground, Utica, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park is really nice, nice long pull throughs with plenty of living space between each unit. Despised the fact that is off the freeway, we still heard a lot of freeway noise. We would stay here again though because it is so well maintained. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Park City RV Resort, Park City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park falls short of it's marketing. This is not a resort, it's an OLD KOA and nothing has been done to clean it up. While the sites up top are very generous in length and width, the overall feel is no pride in ownership. The common areas have been neglected to the point of being very trashy. As in previous reviews, the lighting fixtures are falling off and in some cases never even installed. The showers and bathrooms haven't been cleaned in quite some time, paint is peeling and in the late registration area, someone started to paint, but just gave up. We would not stay here again. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Iron Horse RV Resort, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Although this park is off of 80, it was really quiet at night. The reason we gave this a 9, is because there are a lot of construction workers who fire their diesels up early in the AM and the pool is as big as a postage stamp. We would stay here again, hopefully ELKO will have their main street finally done by then, of course we know the summer is the only time they can work on the roads. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Trailer Villa RV Park, Redwood City, California

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

You are in the Bay area, so the price is very expensive, especially since there aren't any RV sites close by. The trailer park up front is old, but the new area out back is very nice. The bathrooms are very dated, but they are building a new bathhouse in the new are. Sites are tight because you have to pull so far over to accommodate your slides, don't think much thought was put into the cement pads that houses the sewer and electrical. Sewer outlet was too high to dump. No picnic tables. OK site while visiting the area, very close to 101, that's why you get a lot of road noise. We camped at Trailer Villa RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
