Maumelle COE, Little Rock, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park is located right outside of Little Rock. Being a COE park you won't get full blown amenities such as wiring or sewer hookups. But all in all its a great place for a weekend camp, right on the Arkansas river. Folks that work there are friendly and helpful. Clean level sites with massive spacing between them (most). Asphalt pads and water and electric. Bath houses are clean but older. Overall a great place to stay. We camped at Maumelle COE in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Dardnelle State Park, Russellville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is such a wonderful state park. It reflects the money that Arkansas has placed in their state parks. Fishing, swimming, boating and hiking are all there to be had. They often times have a proffessional Bass tournenmant at the park so it get's a little congested during the day, but the park at night is always quite. This is an excellent place for families and couples. Russellville is a short drive down the road so their are plenty of places to stock up on supplies. We camped at Lake Dardnelle State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bluebird RV Park & Campground , Wills Point, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The owners have only had this park a few months and are really trying to make it a great rv park. They go out of their way to make sure everything is working for you and in doing so are being great hosts. After we checked in and got everything hooked up we lost power at the stand. I went to the office and explained it to one of the new owners. She came and checked it out and told me she would have to replace the breakers. 15 minutes later we had power back and she came to the door to say she would check it every so often during the evening to make sure we didn't have any more issues, which we didn't. Great host and an up and coming park!! We camped at Bluebird RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cody KOA, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Very Nice Campground. This is one of the most family friendly places we have ever stayed. The restrooms were very clean and the laundry facility was also exceptionally clean. One of the local shows put on a short performance nightly to try and get you to come to their show in town. Very enjoyable! The distance from town was not a real issue. We would definitely stay here again! We camped at Cody KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Spokane Creek, Keystone, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The road in is definitely something you want to drive during daylight. The park is very family friendly. We stayed here one night but it would been better if we had stayed for a few days. The store is very impressive and the wi-fi is only accessible form around the store area. The showers and laundry were always busy. We camped at Spokane Creek in a Fifth Wheel.

Sioux City North KOA, North Sioux City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here without calling ahead for a reservation, but the folks were real accommodating. The roads were very wet as the area had seen quite a bit of rain in the past couple of weeks. The showers and restrooms were very clean and worked very well. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Casper KOA, Bar Nunn, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Although there were sites that had sewer connections, they seemed to be all taken up by long term rigs (They seem to be semi permanent residence, each had very large propane tanks and underpinning). They did provide dump site but upon exiting this morning we had to wait in line to use it. Make sure you tanks are empty if you plan on staying here. The store was not open during posted hours and was opened late. The showers were family style but were limited to three in one house and two in the office area. Without drain capabilities the showering in the RV was very limited. WIFI was supposed to be available but trying to log on it would drop the signal every time. We camped at Casper KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Branson View Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here on a holiday weekend, for just one night. We made our reservation and were asked how long our rig was, no problem there but when we arrived we were given a very small site that wouldn't allow for the tow vehicle to be parked even hooked up. We were so close to the trees and the other site we couldn't extend the awning. The showers had poor water pressure and poor ventilation. We won't be staying here again. There are several better parks in the area. The rate was Passport America. We camped at Branson View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly staff! When we arrived the staff was very helpful and courteous. The sites were very large and we were not crammed together. Although the pool was closed the rest of the campground exceeded our expectations. We camped at St. Louis West / Historic Route 66 KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
