Four Seasons RV Park and Campground (formerly Valley Plaza Resort RV P, Midland, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Don't know what park looked like under previous owners, but new owner since Oct 2016 has trimmed trees, cut grass, etc. Picnic tables being replaced. A rare find for full timers in vacation country as it has cable and sites that have sat shot. Some road noise and for you train haters if you work at it you can hear a train or two in the distance. NOTE: We run a fan at night for white noise in bedroom. Tricky spotting entrance as it is behind hotel and entrance runs thru convention center parking lot. Stayed on way north liked it returned on way south. Indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room. Passport Am good Mon-Thu unusual as most won't take it in season. We camped at Four Seasons RV Park and Campground (formerly Valley Plaza Resort RV P in a Motorhome.

Real quiet gem. Owner friendly and helpful. Strong i-Fi. Poor to no Verizon cell phone coverage. Open sites (4) for SAT. Great water flow, soap dishes, and bench plus lots of hooks in shower. We camped at Irvington Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sports Unlimited Campground, Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Large well maintained park. Mostly permanent park models. Overnight spaces are about 50. Overhead branches could be problem. Transient sites are well shaded so no satellite TV. When we asked if clear site was available and we were given a FHU site that is a new area that is actually outside the park. No trees so good satellite TV, concrete parking pad, good water, and electric. Pet peeve no dish/shelf in shower, push button timer faucet. We camped at Sports Unlimited Campground in a Motorhome.

Perry KOA Campground, Perry, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Based on previous reviews we weren't sure about stopping. The start of heavy rain convinced us to try it. We just returned from our second trip to Alaska, so based on a lot of campground stays, this KOA is better than most. Front rows near office have a clear shot for DirectTV. Cable TV has has improved to 68 channels including FNC. Shopping is close by. The Wi-Fi was OK. We camped at Perry KOA Campground in a Motorhome.

Bass Lake RV Campground, Dillon, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped to avoid bad weather and were pleasantly surprised by the park. We will definitely stop here again. Sites are level grass with a few trees to open. Good satellite and Verizon air card reception. Wi-Fi is free. The new owners are a friendly young couple who have really worked up a great RV stop. Restaurants and Wal-Mart close. All new showers, laundry, office and lounge. Pool soon?? Price reflects Passport America rate. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.
