Walnut Grove RV Park, Merriam, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was friendly and acommodating. They are open until 10pm, so that was nice when we needed a last-minute spot. Camp is small, and sites were gravel. Sited needed to be filled/leveled/maintained a little better. Nice location to go into Kansas City for some sightseeing! We camped at Walnut Grove RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

West 40 RV Park (CLOSED), Shamrock, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small little campground, but they have done a great job keeping it clean and maintained. The owners are helpful, friendly and live on-site. Individual sites were fairly level. It wasn't very crowded at all. Highway is a bit noisy, but that was expected. We camped at West 40 RV Park (CLOSED) in a Travel Trailer.

Maple Lakes Recreational Park, Seville, Ohio

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for a 1-night stay on our trip. Owners are super-friendly and nice! Sites and park roads are gravel. Sites are fairly level. There are lots of seasonal rentals there. It's on a bit of a hill, so we had some nice views. Pets are welcome at sites or at the dog run, but the rule is that you must transport them down to the dog run, no walking them down. Seemed a little odd, but it likely is a good way to keep things more quiet. We will stay here again when passing through! We camped at Maple Lakes Recreational Park in a Travel Trailer.

River Beach Campground, Milford, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a long weekend because of its location. Check-in was easy. (Only saw staff at check-in.) Local seasonal folks were very friendly. Most everyone else was 1-night travelers. Sites were gravel and not very level. Restrooms not very clean, and trash cans always full. Road-noise was noticeable, but not unbearable. Caution: Watch the huge dip at the entrance! It must be required for street drainage or something. The main draw here is the Delaware River activities and canoeing and kayaking looked like great fun! We camped at River Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.
