Webster Sturbridge Family Campground, Webster, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Dump. . . Old campers there and people who live there year round in campers that are ready for the junk yard. Cars and trucks all over that don't run. Dumpster emptied every 2 weeks. Piles of old pipe all over the place. When you call they tell you "we may have e coli in water". Dogs off leashes. My dog got attacked by a pit bull there that was off the leash. Grass is up to your knees and never cut because lawn mower is broken. Had to cut my own site with weed wacker I had with me. Drunks and loud people just about every night. Stay away. We camped at Webster Sturbridge Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Merry Meadows Recreation Farm (formerly Morris Meadows), Freeland, Maryland

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Pull thru sites were so small I had to BACK UP to get out. They had enough rules to sink a ship. Separate additional rule sheet if you have a dog.Barely made it through the roads there with our trailer. This was the most expensive place we stayed at on our trip from Texas to Massachusetts and offered the least. Needed sales receipt to access pool... Now Really. Power went out in our area at 7:00 am next morning and no one acted like they cared. Blame the electric company. Office and other areas had power. Wanted to charge $1.10 for a lame 6 oz. cup of coffee. I WON'T VISIT HERE EVER AGAIN. We camped at Merry Meadows Recreation Farm (formerly Morris Meadows) in a Motorhome.

OceanSide RV Park, Port Lavaca, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park with nice graveled sites. Pleasant owners that went out of their way to help. Park is expanding and upgrading, as this is a newer park, making our stay there excellent. This is our second time staying here and next year we will be here for the winter as they are right across the street from the beach and have a pleasant climate and not in an overcrowded area. I highly recommend it to anyone going down the gulf coast. We camped at OceanSide RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Buzzard Roost, Del Rio, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Old Campground. Home made trailers there with permanent tenants. Roads and sites need major regrooming. Lots of stray cats and the smell of cat urine everywhere. Owners need to update/upgrade. There are nicer places up the street for less $$$. Wi-Fi here worked intermittent. Will not stay there again. We camped at Buzzard Roost in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park on bluff in town. Friendly managers and well kept and nicely landscaped. Will definitely stay here again. We are here for 1 week and would stay longer if it were not for previous commitments. We camped at Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

OceanSide RV Park, Port Lavaca, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park across from Matagorda Bay and white sand and shell beach. Can see ocean from site. Friendly owners with dog walk area. No office or restrooms due to FEMA regulations. Nicely groomed gravel roads same as beach. Can drive or walk across street to beach. Would highly recommend. New park and owners are constantly upgrading facilities. Satellite TV available for free. Owners supply receiver. A+++ in my book. We camped at OceanSide RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
