Sprague Lake Resort, Sprague, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Not sure what the glowing reviews are about. We do not look for fancy amenities, but appreciate a nice looking park. Entrance to this park brings you past several ramshackle properties. Sites are not level and only some have shade. The lake is not scenic. Train traffic is across the small lake, but the vibrations can be felt in our RV. Would be fine for a $22 park, but certainly not one that tops $40 once tax is added. We camped at Sprague Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Kamp Klamath RV Park, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We love Kamp Klamath on a Saturday night. Their salmon BBQ and jam session are wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is by no means a fancy park, but it is in a lovely area and serves our needs perfectly. We paid full price one night and Passport America half price another. Well worth the short drive off Highway 101 to this great, quiet CG. Be sure to include a Saturday in your stay. We camped at Kamp Klamath RV Park in a Motorhome.

Scenic View RV Park, Ninilchik, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

These hosts are fantastic! We were welcomed with smoked salmon and shown to our site. Once we were settled in, they arrived with bowls of wonderful seafood chowder. We really enjoyed gathering around the fire and the camaraderie of this park. The sites are tiered, which gave us a fantastic water and volcano view. We think we paid $35 but don't exactly remember. Whatever it was, it was completely worth it. Our favorite park of this vacation! We camped at Scenic View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Chena River Wayside State Recreation Site, Fairbanks, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for the solstice and the Midnight Sun baseball game. Peaceful park in the middle of town, but it felt like we were in the country. Close to everything. Stayed one night in a commercial park and it paled in comparison. We camped at Chena River Wayside State Recreation Site in a Motorhome.

Polson / Flathead Lake KOA, Polson, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fantastic park. The owner is so friendly and is there to help. We stayed here for two nights after buying our motorhome and he happily answered as many questions as we could throw at him. The store was great for buying the things we forgot & some great gifts. The park is transitioning from a KOA to Polson Motorcoach & RV Resort. Highly recommend! We camped at Polson / Flathead Lake KOA in a Motorhome.

Bakersfield RV Resort, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

LOVED this park! We were part of a rally & they treated us wonderfully. The staff could not do enough to help us, even on events they did not sponsor. The restaurant is a great amenity with great food & service. The stinky fries were delicious! Love the newspaper delivery & fresh cookies. The buildings were beautiful with murals, gorgeous tile accents, automated restrooms, etc. No detail has been overlooked. We camped at Bakersfield RV Resort in a Motorhome.
