Orange Grove RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

I love this place. This was our second time here. The first time there were oranges on the trees in each campsite which they encouraged you to pick. They have a nice "lodge" with TV and games and serve doughnuts and coffee in the mornings. Staff is friendly and helpful. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clean but sterile, and they wanted $4.95 for wifi. Staff could use some training in How to Win Friends. We camped at Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory in a Motorhome.

A gorgeous spot, and the staff was super nice. I didn't even know it was Good Sam so I missed the 10% discount, but hey, $18 for a lake front site! What's not to like. We camped at Water Sports RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

La Junta KOA, La Junta, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $27.00

A totally unexpected delight. We just saw the sign on the road and needed a place quickly. It has a big "lodge" where you can watch TV or eat your meals. They even serve a free pancake breakfast on Sundays. Staff was really nice. We camped at La Junta KOA in a Motorhome.
