Reno KOA at Boomtown, Verdi, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Great park close to Reno. Has very nice bathrooms with showers. The spots next to the large grass area is perfect to let the little ones run around on with a playground and everything. Close to the Casino also if you're into that. We camped at Reno KOA at Boomtown in a Fifth Wheel.

Far Horizons 49er Village RV Resort, Plymouth, California

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We love this campground. Heated pool, hot tub that's covered in case of rain. It's close to wine tasting, horse shoes, playground for the kids, really nice general store. Try to stay away from the center lake if you want to sleep in because of the noisy ducks. Great place to spend time. We camped at Far Horizons 49er Village RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We always stay in the sites toward the middle that are protected by the trees. You don't have to worry about the wind. Great campground that's close to town. We camped at Sonoma Coast State Beach Bodega Dunes in a Fifth Wheel.

Great sites with full hook-ups. Very nice horse shoe pits down by the lake and large grass area. Lots of things for the kids to do whether it be fishing or just running around. Will be back to camp in the future. We camped at Pardee Reservoir Recreation in a Fifth Wheel.

Oceanside Beachfront RV Resort, Coos Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground with easy beach access. The grounds were clean and neat. I could tell they care about how the park looks. There is a small store at the entrance for the basics but Coos Bay or Charleston is a short drive. The beach access is private and there are picnic tables with fire pits down by the water. If you're camping with a group there is a little central building were you can have group gatherings. I would stay here again. We camped at Oceanside Beachfront RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
