Vineyard RV Park, Vacaville, California

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here many times and it's a nice getaway that is close to Sacramento and even San Francisco if wanted. The sites are spacious and they have added HDTV over the cable. It provides a beautiful picture. The park is quiet and night and is clean. We will be back. We camped at Vineyard RV Park in a Motorhome.

East Shore RV Park, San Dimas, California

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We might have never decided to venture so close to LA without a friend telling us about this park. The sites are very spacious and have paved parking spots with lawn surrounding. We did see one skunk in the evening, but he was not interested in us. There are large sites for big rigs and most, I think are back-in. We were very comfortable there, but we did pick up some ants. Watch your hoses and power lines. We found that Bon Ami or Conmet will send them packing. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rancheria RV Park, Hat Creek, California

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We had a back-in space near the front. The sites are mostly level everywhere. Most sites are back in, but there are a few pull through sites. We were very happy with our one week stay. If you have satellite, there are places where there are no trees blocking. As mentioned, there is no cell coverage here. Drive north 22 miles to the town of Burney and there is service. I like that all the roads are paved at this place and there are grassy areas. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Motorhome.

Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort , Felton, California

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in June with a group of 10 other rigs (group rate). The hosts were very friendly to us and helpful. The sites are nestled in the trees with some facing the river with a nice view. The clubhouse is accommodating with a pool table and ping pong (for groups, there is a kitchen). The Wi-Fi works very well with high speed unlike some others we have seen. From this park, it's a nice drive down Hwy 9 through the Redwoods to Santa Cruz to see the sights. The Roaring Camp Steam train is only a few miles away. There are miles of walking/hiking trails in Henry Cowell state park. We camped at Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort in a Motorhome.

High Sierra RV & Campground, Oakhurst, California

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here with friends to visit Yosemite. It's a nice drive from the southern entrance. The Wi-Fi speed was slow, so I didn't use it. The Cable TV worked well. We had a site up near the entrance rather than further in. I would stay there again. We were very comfortable there. We camped at High Sierra RV & Campground in a Motorhome.

Bodega Bay RV Park, Bodega Bay, California

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park, but they currently do not have cable TV. We were told they, (the cable company) came in and took it all out and wanted $$$$ to install. The pull though sites are ample and level and they do have nice restrooms. If you have a newer TV or a converter, you can receive OTA (over the air) TV from San Francisco. We camped at Bodega Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cathedral Palms RV Resort, Cathedral City, California

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

They haven't done any work since we were here last March. They say the power will be upgraded this November. It needs it! The first site we were in had no power and two over had a plug that was pushed into the box. We finally found a site with power. The interior roads need work as well as the entrance. Restroom open. Laundry room was locked and unavailable. The power pedestals need to be replaced in most of the park. We had a cement pad, but it was a 1950 size and did not line up at all. For what they charge for the area, it's probably a good deal, but I don't think we will return, even for the money. We camped at Cathedral Palms RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I-30 Travel Park, Benton, Arkansas

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The park looks shabby. There is litter on the ground, (cigarette butts). We spent 4 nights there and most of the time the internet was so slow as to be unusable. One night it rained hard which created large puddles near our coach where the power pedestal is. There is no shade for over night. Those sites are taken by full-timers. Other than a convenient place for our stay, it did not meet our expectations. We camped at I-30 Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Orange Grove RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the cleanest RV parks we have stayed in. This is our third time and we really like that they have such nice, clean restrooms. The power and water pressure are consistent. If you stay here, make a point to get a doughnut and coffee in the morning or afternoon. While you are at the office go into what they call the lodge room. My wife and I were amazed at how nice it is. Big rock fireplace, nice wood through-out. Plush chairs and couches and a pool table in the loft. A great place to go and relax. The staff can't be more helpful. We also walked to the Fruit exchange. (1/4 mile) Try all the dates, trail mix, get a date shake, oranges you want and then buy something. Heck, even send a postcard home, we did. We actually stayed two nights going to and coming from Palm Springs. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna, California

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park is indeed clean and has nice sites. Our rig is smaller than some, but we are surrounded by bigger rigs and they came in with no issues. I must mention the road noise. We are in the first row, next to Riverside Drive and trucks are constantly going in both directions. There is a recycle plant and a gravel pit about a half mile north, so that's why. As mentioned, bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. I'm sure the motels that dot the area have similar issues. We camped at Riverwalk RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yolo County Fairgrounds, Woodland, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night while visiting our kids in Davis. The price is right. I reserved on the internet and I'm not sure if anyone came around and checked or not. One complaint I had was the trailer park behind, someone's dog was barking way past 10pm and it was hot so all windows were open. Be aware there are large stadium lights in the parking area, so no night-light is needed. I think that's a good thing, rather than being dark as anyone can come and go. If you come in without paying ahead, there is a box with forms and an Iron-Ranger, (slotted pipe) to put your money in. The power and water was consistent. The sites are roomy enough for a tow car or large motor-home with dingy. There is a Tower Mart, (mini-mart) within walking distance, if needed. We camped at Yolo County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Jackson Rancheria RV Park, Jackson, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here with our camping club and had our dinners together in the grass area. This was one of the nicest RV Parks we have stayed in. The trees are still growing as the park is only three years old. I never seen a cleaning crew come through anywhere else and pressure wash the garbage area. A very nice touch. The bathrooms were always very clean. We used the Wi-Fi, but found it slow with at our friends way out at the end, it was fine at #33. The pool area and spa was very nice to cool off in the 98 degree heat. The office has iced tea and popcorn, (free). In the clubhouse there is excellent coffee. The shuttle to the casino comes by often, (used it once) but I guess we got used to it after four nights. We were there during the week, so there were few kids. By Thursday, more families started arriving. Everybody seemed respectable and the park was full most nights. We camped at Jackson Rancheria RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverside Resort RV Park, Laughlin, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We got lucky due to the time of year we stayed and we were close to the front and had a slab to park on. This is a really big park and most people might have a car to get to the casinos. (we didn't) I enjoyed our stay except for the unusually May hot weather. My only complaint was the TV cable had a lot of snow. Maybe just my site, but I didn't care that much. For a large park on off season, it's OK. We camped at Riverside Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Orange Grove RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed here one night as we were passing through, but it was very pleasant. The pool was a little cold for my liking, but the bath facilities were some of the nicest and cleanest I've seen in a while. One drawback was the train traffic all night, but it didn't bother my wife at all. A really nice park all around. Very clean! We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.
