This park is excellent. The staff and owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The park is located 25 miles from Mt. Rushmore with shopping and dining very close. We stayed 2 weeks. Cable TV would have been nice, but we did not miss it. We camped at Rapid City RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) , Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

The park is older, we have 3 slides and 32 ft. long. We fit in the site but it was a bit tight. There are limited services: Internet at laundry, limited cell service, no TV. Great location for the Tetons and southern Yellowstone. Groceries and fuel were available. We camped at Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice little park. The sites are level, with reliable electricity and good water pressure. Not much to do other than Craters of the Moon National Monument. The park provides free breakfast for guest, 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and coffee. The Cafe does have a full menu. The cafe is closed Sunday. We stayed 2 nights and would stay here again. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

High Sierra RV & Campground, Oakhurst, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Caution on this park. The best RV entrance is not off highway 41, call to get the directions. The other reason I rated the park low: there is no turn around for anything larger than a small Class C rig. For most sites, you would have to back the length of the park to get to the sites. It is more like a one lane road with sites down one side and a hill on the other. The park was clean and the workers were nice. We camped at High Sierra RV & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sequoia RV Ranch, Three Rivers, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $50.00

The park is clean, however, we felt it was expensive. There were no facilities, port-a-potty's, no laundry, etc. The sites are gravel and level; our site had cable problems. Good access to Sequoia NP. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Level sites off I-15, easy access to the strip. Great adult and family pools. Wi-Fi iffy in the back corner, site 649. Our only issue was a full timer left their barking dog tied all day. Park did call the owner. Laundry was clean. We stayed 5 nights. We would stay there again. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park, Glendale, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is centrally located between Zion and Bryce. The owners and host are great. They go to lengths to bring fellow campers together. We stayed 11 days and had 3 community campfires. Wi-Fi was great, but no cell service like a lot of southern Utah. We would stay here again. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
