Lake Pines RV Park and Campground, Columbus, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access into sites with large fifth wheel. Entrance road is one lane and can be a problem if two RV's meet. Grass needed mowing. Some sites have picnic tables and some do not. Very low water pressure. Easy access for visiting Columbus, GA. Staff friendly and helpful. We would camp here again. We camped at Lake Pines RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Ebenezer Park, Rock Hill, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We have camped here many times while visiting family in Rock Hill area. It is a very nice campground but the restrictions are abused by the locals. There is a two week maximum stay during the summer months then you must vacate the park for some period of time before returning. Not sure what the vacate time is. The regulars there save their vacated site for friends by placing a small unoccupied tent in the site before they pullout. The friend then comes in the park at their leisure and claims the "tented" site. This practice takes place all the time. We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cheraw State Park, Cheraw, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice state park. Small, but sites are roomy with fairly easy access. Encountered some low limbs in area around office which is separate from campground. Golf course looked beautiful but we did not use it. Many trails around lake. We would camp here again. We camped at Cheraw State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

New Bern KOA, New Bern, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice campground. Campsites have easy access for long fifth wheels. There were many families with children over weekend enjoying pool and fishing in the "Catch & Release" pond. Staff was very helpful and friendly. As with most KOA's, it's a little expensive. Id say it is the best bet for visiting New Bern. We camped at New Bern KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
