We camped in the Soldier Creek loop, with electric only. With the big trees, we had trouble getting satellite reception. Staff was friendly and helpful. The next time we would stay in Red Cloud section. Fort Robinson itself was very interesting with lots to do and wonderful walking areas. Would stay here again if in the area.

This is a state park. Park staff were very helpful and courteous. Sites are well spaced. There is electric only, but water and dump is available onsite. It is a beautiful area, close to the wildlife loop, with nice walking areas. We had excellent phone and WiFi through Verizon. It was peaceful and quiet. Campfires are allowed. We will be returning.

This is a top notch campground. They have paved roads, plenty of pull through long sites, clean restrooms, showers and a small store with essentials and liquor. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The views are awesome as it is surrounded by the Black HIlls. There is a Walmart within five miles and plenty of restaurants. They offer monthly rates which is hard to come by in the Black HIlls - due to the tourism market. The trees are young, so there is not much shade or protection from the winds coming through. The rates are high - but comparative to other campgrounds in the Black Hills - when you consider the amenities.

This campground was a huge surprise. It is very well kept up. There is no dust in the park. Water and garbage is enclosed in wood. Pets are welcome and there is a very nice pet area. Some of the sites have small grassy areas. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. Reservations are needed, as the campground was full. There is a small store stocked with essentials such as bread and milk.

This campground is easy to get in and out. There is not much grass, but rather it has weeds with sand stickers in it making it hard to walk the pets. It's a great stop over. Owner was friendly. We will stay here again when we are in the area. Al's restaurant, grocery store and clothing store is close by and several fuel stations. Our site had a concrete pad with a picnic table.

We stayed here a week. This campground is OK, and we would stay here again if we couldn't find anything else better. The sites are too short for the big rigs. There was a lot of dust from the sandy soil and the equestrian center next door. The camp workers were all friendly. There was new sod on our site, and they let us water as much as we wanted to. The campground is pet friendly, and you can walk your pet in the equestrian center next door. There are many good restaurants close by including our favorite Susie's Branding Iron which was within a mile of the campground.

This is a nice stopover campground. Ladies at the front desk are very accommodating. They have a nice pet walk. For big rigs, they let you take up two sites when they aren't full, so that you don't have to unhook. The campground is within a couple of miles from a Walmart and restaurants. We stopped here twice within the last month for overnight stays. On the negative side, there is a train track that runs along the back side, but the train doesn't seem to come through very often. When the wind is blowing, there is a lot of sandy dust from the road within the campground and surrounding area. We will stop here again when we come through.

This is a small, quiet, clean and safe campground. Pets are very welcome and the pet area was picked up. The roads are gravel, but there was not any dust. Verizon is on 3G so a bit slow, but no problems with service. It is family owned and they operate it based on the honor system. It is within an hour of Natural Bridges, Mesa Verde, and the lower Canyon Lands so is a great stopover to do day trips from. We planned to stay three nights and ended up staying five nights as it was such a relaxing stop over.

This is a very clean park with excellant tent sites. The staff were friendly and we got in on same day notice. The pull through sites are very close together, but easy to get into your site. The grass was watered and flowers blooming. Our rate was high compared to other camps.

This park was just OK. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The site was not level, there was a large hole in the middle of the site and dead tree branches too close to our rig. The campground has a lot of potential with a bit fixing up. Nice location to stop after a long day.

This park is quaint with a nature walk included. Our site was a back in under large trees. We had plenty of room for our big rig and between us and the neighbors. We can't wait to go back.

This is what an RV park should be about. The staff are friendly. The grass and roads are watered. They fog the area for bugs when needed. We upgraded to a front spot and had an excellent view of Flat Head. One work camper hopes he can keep coming back every year and that in itself says it all in my opinion. Its a well maintained park and it shows in every aspect.

This park was OK but I probably would not ever stay there again. The park has easy pull-throughs but rigs are parked back to back. The lawn was not mowed, the park seemed to need some upkeep overall. It was basically just a flat field with utilities put in.

We loved this park and can't wait to go back. There is a lot of space between the sites, large trees and nice green grass. Paved walking/biking trails are a plus.

This campground is clean. The sites are so close together that we couldn't put out our awning. The pet area is very nice. We had reservations for 3 nights and ended up staying 5 nights due to weather conditions. The staff acted like it was almost a bother for us to extend our stay even though the campground was only about 30% full. We would stay here again if we were passing through, but would not make it a destination place.
