This was our 2nd time at the campground. If you are going to stay in this gravel parking lot, be sure and ask for the front part. We were placed at the back of the park. Lot of people are permanent and don't take care of their stuff. There were dog droppings everywhere. The poop can was never emptied the 4 days we stayed there. Workers rode around the area and I even saw bags on the ground. Mosquitoes were in full bloom, and were everywhere. It is nothing more than a gravel lot with trees and some grass at each site. Behind us was some guys racing their motorcycle engine up and down the streets. I wouldn't leave anything outside of my RV unattended. We will not stay there again.

This would be a 5 star RV park, if it had grass! We just got back today from a rally. The whole area is gravel on the lower part and is filled with native plants. The top part does have cement streets and scrubs and looks great. They did have picnic tables at some sites but not at others. I heard people mention that they did have to work around some trees in their sites on the upper level to open their slide outs. They are building a top notch rec room with an indoor pool. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. They have a big dog run/ drainage pond, but I doubt it will ever be filled with water, but have to note it. This is a winner RV parks.

Very friendly people, site is pretty level. Club house is very nice. If you have a pet, there is NO grass anywhere. Everything is gravel. Very nice park and would stay there again.

We just got back from this park. The lady at the front desk was very nice and checked us in quickly. I would hardly say it has trees, the trees that it did have were small and given to long term people. It was nothing more than a gravel parking lot with hook ups. The cable was great but the booklet they gave us had so many mistakes as far as channels go, you had to hunt for the channel you wanted. Pets, the so called open area for pets was so full of goathead stickers and weeds and maybe some grass, nobody wanted to take their animals there. Sites were very level. It appeared that there were 3 campgrounds together and they decided to just put a fence between them and make 3 separate campgrounds. Would I stay here again, NO, at least not in the summer. Winter, maybe fine but nothing could absorb the heat in the summer.

Sandpiper could be a GOLDMINE if operated right! We spent a week there and everything is just OK. Grass needed cutting badly, swimming pool wasn't working. If you want to use the facilities then you had to jump through hoops, have different codes and go upstairs, just a mess. ONLY 1 trash container available . Mosquitoes were there because the grass was too long. Cable was fair, not good reception. Staff was friendly but owner seemed not to really care when we talked with him. Don't get fooled by premium spots as there is a light pole that just lights up the whole area. They do allow aggressive dogs, i.e.. Dobermans, and a man said his Lab was very aggressive, so beware! We did make reservations for next year because it's a GREAT location.

This park is NOT set up for larger RV, at least where they placed us. We were a group of about 11 RV's and what they gave us was simply a slum area! I could hardly get my RV in the tiny space and had to ask the person behind me to move his truck as he was parked in the street! Had to really work so that i could open my slideouts! Lots of RV's here that have not been moved in 7 years. ( i.e. registration cert on windshields). Sidewalks cracked, cats everywhere, people had pit bulls in their residential mobile home and dog droppings everywhere. Cable TV was on the opposite side of the park and we were not told this. Would rather stay at a roadside park than stay here again! We used the club house which was nice and the laundry facilities looked clean. Dog area was VERY SMALL and the gate was broken!

A wonderful park and very clean. Sites were level and I had a grassy area outside my door and a picnic table. We had many sites to chose from and if we didn't like the site we were going to, all we had to do was go to the site we liked and then tell the office. Wi-Fi worked well as did the cable TV.

This was a wonderful KOA. We were greeted as we drove up, everyone was very friendly as well as all staff member through out our stay for the Alamo bowl. The only think I can think off that would really stand out in this park is that if you need propane, you let a staff member know and they would come to your site, pick up the tank and fill it and return it to you. I have had this done at other KOA's and thought that was a great touch. Did not use anything while we were there but everything looked in TOP condition.

Don't expect this to be a real RESORT! The grounds were horrible. Grass and weeds needed cutting, and there were pot holes everywhere. Our pad site had 2 big potholes in it. The people who run it are very nice but that's about it. Grass covered holes in our space, and there were dog droppings everywhere! We wanted a picnic table and was advised that "over there" about 80 meters away was a table that we could have? If we wanted it, we had to get it. Our friends came down and took a shower which cost 5.00 a day. Bathrooms were clean the first day.. The second and third day they reported that they were dirty! Wi-FI didn't work and cable wasn't really that good, either. If someone would spend the time and money on this campground, it would be wonderful! We stayed 4 days.

What a wonderful place to camp. Spent 4 days there and plan on returning. The lady who owns it is wonderful and very helpful. My ONLY complaint is the people who have dogs, (Yes, we have one and brought him), is that they DON'T always pick up their droppings, even though there are signs posted all over. People with little dogs think it is no big deal, but it is. Can't tell you how many times I almost stepped in it. Otherwise the campgrounds and site are wonderful; can't wait to go back!

What can you say about an RV park that has EVERYTHING? We stayed there 2 nights, once going to Houston and coming back home. All I can say about the RESORT is that I would like to live there. Everything is manicured and spotless. Only negative thing we can think of, is that the Wi-Fi did not work the second time we stayed, and it was past office hours so there was no way to check. My wife wants to come back and spend more time there, which we will do in the near future.

My wife and I stayed there last week for 5 days in a 5er. I found the campground clean and the lady who worked at the desk (manager) very friendly! The only negative aspect was that the sites were gravel, and it rained for several days and you had to step in water to enter or leave your RV. Our grandkids came to visit, and we tried to feed the ducks, but they wouldn't have any part of it. I felt the 32.00 a night for everything was very reasonable. We would and will stay there again.

My wife and i made reservations 2 weeks out and the lady who we dealt with on the phone was WONDERFUL. We asked for certain things..2 picnic tables because we were having a cookout and at our site was a HUGE new picnic table that would have seated 10 people. Campground was very clean and the pull thru was pretty level, NO problems. The people who were running the campground were also riding around looking to help you or clean up after someone who left a mess. They had Wi-Fi but we couldn't get it to work. Cable worked well. We can't wait to go back and stay longer. We took our lab.
