Merry Knoll Campground, Clayton, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Mostly seasonal sites. Clean park with a few decent sites. Nice overlook to St. Lawrence River if you can handle the steep climb back up the hill. Owners are very nice and helpful. We had a site with 30 amp service and were charged an additional $5/day for using our air conditioner. At $43/day, the park is over-priced. We camped at Merry Knoll Campground in a Motorhome.

Fort Collins / Lakeside KOA , Fort Collins, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with lots of activities for the kids. Campsites are OK but a bit small and lack sufficient shade trees. Small dog park and fishing and paddle boats available. We stayed here the past 2 years for weeks at a time. Monthly sites are available at reasonable cost. We camped at Fort Collins / Lakeside KOA in a Motorhome.

Camp A Way, Lincoln, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with lots of shade trees. Park is well kept with large sites, huge dog park, and nice pool. I found the park to be a bit expensive with fewer amenities than KOA campgrounds that we have visited. I would stay again for a night or two due to its convenience to Interstate 80. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground right off the highway but very quiet. The staff and owner were extremely friendly. The grounds are well groomed with a nice pet area. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mountain Gate RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sand Lake Campground & Cottages, Elgin, Ontario

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $34.00

Wonderful park right on Sand Lake. Mostly seasonal sites with sufficient room for transients. The owners were wonderful and extremely helpful. We were given an extension cord and honey wagon for our use. We spent 10 days there and would definitely return. We camped at Sand Lake Campground & Cottages in a Motorhome.
