Paradise Park Resort Campground, Old Orchard Beach, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very close together and packed in, roads are one way and hard to navigate. Kids on bikes not looking where they are going and not supervised. Pools are small and crowded. You pay for the convenience of being down the street from the beach. There is no privacy at your site and you are so close together that you can see into your neighbor's camper. Once was enough. We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Powder Horn Family Camping Resort, Old Orchard Beach, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We make our reservations every year for the 4th of July Week. We camp with 6 other families and stay in the same sites. We love the option of going to the pool or walking down to the beach. There is trolley service for $1/way. Beach and downtown area less than 1 mile. Lots to do in campground, love the 50/50 raffles, horseshoe tournaments and relaxing environment. We are allowed to have our fires later at night as long as we aren't too loud. We are always sorry to leave at the end of the week. We camped at Powder Horn Family Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We Camped Memorial Day weekend 2009 with 4 other sites. The Campground was under a severe makeover. The new owners are trying to accomplish everything at once. The outdoor pool was closed, no gym, no arcade and other activities that is listed on website not available. We paid $48 per night for a Resort and had to clean our own sites upon arrival. Sites had not been raked since last year, old fire pits were demolished and left on site. Tree stumps and roots were left to trip over. Dilapidated seasonals left with debris to be a potential safety hazard. Visit in another year or two is my recommendation. We camped in a Travel Trailer.
