Appalachian Campsites, Shartlesville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This used to be a really nice campground. Most of the employees aren't very friendly. The noise from the truck stop is so annoying that you'd think you were camping in the middle of a highway. The actives are nice but the ladies running them could use a class in being friendly. When it was still a private campground the staff was great. It has gone down hill since the corporation took it over. We will not camp here again. We camped at Appalachian Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

Pennsylvania Dutch Campsites, Bernville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We had a great time. The owner was great. We have many friends that are now seasonal there and have heard nothing but good things. They are in the process of updating everything. Sites are marked clearly and staff was friendly. Sewer is going in all over and the electric is up to standards. The bathhouse is old but was clean and stocked. The pool looks like it is about a year old. Overall we had a great time and will be going there at least 3 more times this year. We camped at Pennsylvania Dutch Campsites in a Travel Trailer.
