Mountain Top Bluegrass Festival & Campground, Tarentum, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Up on a mountain top literally and the last 1/4 mile is one lane loose gravel twisting and turning. Flat open campground. I think they do bluegrass festivals at times. No easy way to determine where to park. All grass and very low hookups. No trees and the restrooms were way over to the side. An odd place. The road is enough to cause major heart failure. We camped at Mountain Top Bluegrass Festival & Campground in a Motorhome.

Broken Wheel Campground, Weston, West Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $22.00

Beware..Brown water..even with our filters in place. We always carry bottled water, but would not even use this to wash face in. Very primitive. Lots of permanent people. Shame, beautiful site, could be very nice indeed. We camped at Broken Wheel Campground in a Motorhome.

Georgia Mountain Fair Campground, Hiawassee, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

A truly wonderful park. It is directly on the shores of Lake Chatuge. The sites are all over the place and you can have quite a lot of privacy. There is a boat ramp available. There is also a large playground. It is in the center of town, but feels as if you are far far away from everything. I urge everyone who likes Lakes to try it. We camped at Georgia Mountain Fair Campground in a Motorhome.

Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground, Elko, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park. We had a pull through. We used the high speed computer hookup, which is nice. The pool was drained at the time, but everything else worked well. For us, this is a nice park to make as a last stop on our way home, to central Florida. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We loved the park. It was clean, tidy and well maintained. We had a pull through site directly on the lake. We kayaked to our heart's content. It was easy to get in and out. We brought our bikes and rode all over the park. We camped at Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park in a Motorhome.
