Eugene T Mahoney State Park, Ashland, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Mahoney for a few days. The site was mostly level and there was plenty of grassy space between sites. The entire campground was very shady with established trees. The restrooms and showers were clean. We had electric, but no water or sewer. There was a dump station conveniently located on the way to the campground. There are lots of fun activities for the family, swimming, putt putt, horseback rides, paddle boats, fishing, hiking, and more. We will definitely stay here again. Great destination spot. We camped at Eugene T Mahoney State Park in a Motorhome.

Rawlins KOA, Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at the Rawlins KOA twice on our way to and from our destination. The campground is sufficient for an overnight stay when you are on your way somewhere else. It is easy to get to from I-80. Neither of the sites we stayed in were remotely level. I doubt any of the sites were. We reserved spots with a windbreak, but didn't get one either night. Both nights we were told we were getting an "upgrade" to a better spot, but yet they gave us partial refunds both nights. They told my husband "the computer picks the site". So, don't take a lot of time choosing a spot ahead of time like I did. The staff was friendly, and the one time I used the restroom, it was clean. Each site has a little weed patch, which is expected in that area of Wyoming. Overall, a satisfactory place to sleep, but not much else. We camped at Rawlins KOA in a Motorhome.

Arrowhead RV Resort, Cascade, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Came here after canceling reservations at another campground. Nice sites, trees provided nice shade. Great grassy areas at each site. There were great sites on the river too. Nice little nature trail and greenbelt. River access for fishing. Small playground for the kids. Lots of craft classes available. We had two kids and two dogs, and it was nice and quiet. A lot of people here rent for the season, so some sites had trailers, but no occupants. Nice staff, and a great little sundry area with great prices for the little things you run out of. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Water's Edge RV Resort, Cascade, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We had reservations for two nights, but left after approximately a half hour. Front Office people were nice, but campground had everyone packed in like sardines. There was very little space between sites. There is no grass nearby for dogs to use. We had a small weed patch that was supposed to be our "grassy area".There are ATV's all over, and just loaded with people. We found it very noisy. We found another campground nearby that had space for our kids and dogs to play. We camped at Water's Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Three Island Crossing State Park, Glenns Ferry, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at Three Island Crossing State Park twice this summer, and enjoyed it both times. Great space between sites, and wonderful grassy areas. Great for kids and pets. The Oregon Trail Museum was very nice and staff was great to talk to. Lots of space to ride bikes and nice walking trails. Fishing available on the river. The park is kept up very well, and is nice and quiet. We'll stay here again for sure! We camped at Three Island Crossing State Park in a Motorhome.
