Tampa East RV Resort, Dover, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Ok: THIS is what an RV park should be. They are a Passport America participating park and the place is spotless. The sites are wooded and spacious. The people are friendly. Hostess in the office could not have been any nicer. She put me in a GREAT site in the Oaks and I loved it because it was level and close to the pool which was very refreshing and clean. I love RVing but I hate dirty parks with rude people or permanent residents living in "RV's". None of that here. There are a couple of RV's in the Oaks that appear to have "Florida Rooms" attached and as long as this park keeps them as a VERY bare minimum, then this park will continue to stay nice. As soon as a park lets people start "living" in the park then it seems to go downhill fast, and none of us like to see run down RV's. I highly recommend this park for travelers! We camped at Tampa East RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Leo's Campground, Key West, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

I cannot say enough good things about this park. I have a 36' motorhome that is difficult to park. I got in with NO PROBLEM. Not only that, but the owner helped me, and his son got my scooter carrier off for me. Here's the best part: I stayed here during "mini-lobster" season. I was worried about even getting a reservation but they got me in with no problem. Then, on the first day of lobster season the park gave me a lobster! Incredibly friendly people running this park. Great place to spend the whole season. I can't wait to come back and have already told my family and friends about this park. The grounds are immaculate and safe/secure. By the way, this is the CLOSEST campground to Key West, closer than Boyd's and VERY well priced for the area. Also, this park is quiet and there is not constant traffic in and out like Boyd's. We camped at Leo's Campground in a Motorhome.

McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park, Townsend, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I love this park. I have stayed there MANY times. The first time was during a hurricane when I evacuated Florida. I was VERY disappointed that they are no longer a Passport America Campground. I wish they would re-join passport america. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Atlanta South RV Resort , Mcdonough, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Not the friendliest place and I have stayed here several times. Kind of creepy in the back area where it looks like people live in the RV's. Also, I cannot remember what I paid but I thought it was expensive. We camped at Atlanta South RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
