Yellowstone Park / Mountainside KOA, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $84.00
Overall Rating:

Park was nice. You pay the price in Yellowstone. This park is a few miles out of town. You can have a campfire because you are out of city limits. Had some improvements going on. Lots of construction noise. Will be better when it is completed. I like that they guide you in. I have never been in a KOA that charges for coffee. Staff was not the friendliest. I would stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone Park / Mountainside KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place to stay. Felt safe. Security out and about every night. Check in was so easy! Guard meets you at your vehicle. Then you get an escort to your site. I was here with a group. Very accommodating to our needs. The reason why I did not give it a 10 was because there is no vegetation around the sites. Being in a desert...you would not expect it. Do not have a water leak. You will get a notice on your door. I will stay here again. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This place is nice. However, I was not impressed with the check-in. Something is wrong with the software they are using. Our group makes reservations under one name. When we check in, we check in under our own names. They could not do this easily. Took 20 minutes to get checked in. During our stay, we needed propane. Could not get anyone to fill our tanks. They sent us down the street. Of course they own that station too. We stayed in the new section. Has all the modern wants and needs. However, it was just a large gravel parking lot. Sites are so large, people can actually drive through someone's site. Very close to Bryce Canyon NP. Not sure if I would stay here again. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Thousand Lakes RV Park, Torrey, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The office help is wonderful! Great gift shop. Anything you would want. Campground is gravel with a few trees and grass in between. Large grassy area for tents and cabins. Children love it. This is the quietest campground I have ever been in. The campground has a couple of jeeps to rent. There is lots of places to go explore around Capitol Reef. Made our trip very memorable. I will stay there again. We camped at Thousand Lakes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Archview RV Resort & Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is 10 miles from town. It is a great spot if you have and ATV. There is a trail right next to the campground. We do not own an ATV. Lots of noise and dust from the riders around all day. We would have liked to be closer into town. Car show weekend. Busy, no Good Sam discount. We did the zip line tour. Well worth the money. Car show is fantastic, if you are into old cars. Restrooms are old but clean. We will not camp here again. Only because of the ATV's. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Southside RV Park, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. We usually stay here over night. This time we had 4 rigs traveling together. Owner saw us coming down the street. By the time we got to the office. She had all our paperwork started. Some parks get overwhelmed when we pull in at the same time. She had asked where we were headed when I made the reservations. She had all the travel information ready for each of us. Very level sites to make for easy set up. Nice trees for shade. We walked to Sparky's for dinner - which is a few blocks away. It would be a ten if it was paved. I love this park. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I had a friend recommend this park. I was very impressed. Glad we were with friends. We had camp spots 48 and 49. Would have been disappointed had we been there by ourselves. 49 does not have a yard. Right by an access road. 48 is very nice! The golf course is 2 miles away. Great course. We were there for the car show they have at the end of April every year. If you are in to old cars, there were over 400 vehicles to look at. Very nice and helpful office workers. Checked us in quickly. Lots of brochures to help plan your days. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

J & H RV Park (55 + Park), Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This price reflects weekly rate. Our stay started out pretty shaky. We had four large rigs traveling together. We all pulled in at once. No where for all of us to go: without blocking the entrance. Really shook up the owner. She sent us quickly to our sites. Then went back to finish checking in. This park will be trying to go smoke free starting 2013. They tried giving us a smoking area. Did not work out with the rainy weather. Our party smoked where it was convenient. They did set us up with two tables for our large group. We had dinner together every night. They have a large video library. The internet worked great and was free. Had problems with the cable hookup. Would not go through the RV connections. The owner recommended going through a window a directly into the TV. This did work. The owners are very friendly. We saw them quite frequently going through the park. Although we loved how friendly the owners were: we will not stay here again. We have too many in our group that smoke. We camped at J & H RV Park (55 + Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Lizzie and Charlie's RV/ATV Park, Marysvale, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as a stop over. Was level enough to keep RV hitched up. Nothing to this park. Just a big gravel parking lot. Had a few trees. Had a lot of toy haulers here camping. This town is very friendly for 4 wheelers. Lots of trails around. I would not stay here again. Only because we are not into 4 wheeling. I talked to other guests who come clear across the USA to stay here. If you stay in the area: there is an old gold mine up a canyon close by. I would highly recommend seeing it. It is on a narrow dirt road. We went up in a small car. We camped at Lizzie and Charlie's RV/ATV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Panguitch KOA, Panguitch, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has new owners as of this spring. We had stayed here a few years ago under different owners. He is getting rid of some problem trees. Some spots were very tight before. This was a good thing. The grass is also being replaced by rocks. This I did not like. The weeds were pretty high through the rocks. Had a very unkempt look. This time I was not impressed. We did have free internet service. Only stayed one night. Would stay here if traveling through. Probably would not stay here if we were camping for a week like last time. We camped at Panguitch KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) , Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice but busy campground. You need to remember you are in a national park. No camp fires at your site. There is a community fire. We never spent any time here. The shops are very nice. There is a boat cruise around Jackson Lake. We would love to have done this. We did not have the time. Jenny Lake is a great place to go for easy hikes. Wi-Fi is available at the cafe. Located 20 miles from the south entrance of Yellowstone. We would stay here again. We camped at Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Fifth Wheel.

Fillmore KOA, Fillmore, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We took up KOA's offer for buy a night get a night half price. Swimming pool is getting a remodel. Looks like it will be very nice when completed. Very nice owners. Met us at the office door and then met us at our site. I mentioned we were local and had never spent time in this area of our state. He brought us a brochure on Millard County. Very helpful to plan out our days. We usually plan a dinner out. There is only a few places to eat out in that area. Next time I will do all the cooking. It is a very quiet campground. Did not hear the freeway at all. We would stay there again. We camped at Fillmore KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Spruce Park on the River, Kalispell, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Pretty nice park. Close to a highway. Noise during the day, did quiet down at night. Park was only half full. So it seemed roomy. When it is full, could be pretty tight. You can fish in the river. You can't swim. Some spots are not satellite friendly. Make sure you specify. Wi-Fi worked great. Very convenient for us. We needed to be in Kalispell. About an hour away from Glacier Park. We camped at Spruce Park on the River in a Fifth Wheel.

Southside RV Park, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Even though they have gravel, I gave it a 10. They keep it so smooth. Driveway gets watered down to keep the dust down. Sites are already level. Park is so clean and neat. Great cable TV channels. Wi-Fi works great and is free! Was very quiet. Nice place to eat just down the street. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fairmont RV Park, Anaconda, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I gave this campground a 9 only because it has gravel. Other than that it is great. Very quiet. It is next to a hot spring. Have never had time to take a soak. There is also a couple of golf courses near by. Manager took her time explaining everything. She even helped me with my good Sam membership. Located about 12 miles away from Butte, MT. Kind of a ways away. We usually have something already prepared to heat and eat when we get here. Have only stayed one night at a time. Looks like it would be nice to stay awhile. Most definitely would stay here again. We camped at Fairmont RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
