Rutledge Lake RV Park, Fletcher, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

My family camped here with a motorhome, pop-up camper and we rented a cabin. The place was very clean, especially the bathrooms. Staff was very helpful and provided help with area attractions. We plan on going back in the fall. Location is great, and close to Asheville and Hendersonville. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bahia Honda State Park, Big Pine Key, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I waited 2 years to get a site on a trip to the Keys. I was only able to book in advance for one night, but was discouraged by what happened when I was checking in. There was a gentleman from outside the states camping in a rental RV. He was able to book two weeks, just by walking up. Being a Florida resident, it's irritating that I could not get a site for more than one day on-line, booking more than six months in advance. I would rate this place a 10 if I could book more than One night with ease. The views here are excellent for sunset and sunrise. Kayaking was a 10. We camped at Bahia Honda State Park in a Motorhome.

Geiger Key Marina and RV Park, Key West, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

This place is average, if your in a RV its fine. There are a lot of full-time, permanent campers here. It was a bit buggy with the mosquitoes out in full force every time you went outside, especially in the evening. It happens to be close to Key West and the price is not so bad for the Keys. We camped at Geiger Key Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lazy Lakes RV Resort, Sugarloaf Key, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great surprise. It's so close to the KOA, you can hear their loudspeaker! The KOA had a private group in and they were really loud!! If we would not of made reservations with the KOA, we would of stayed here instead for five nights. The place is clean, friendly staff and you pick your site for this time of the year. The price was great for the Keys. We camped at Lazy Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA, Sugarloaf Key, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

We had a water view site, which was a view of the swimming area. The sites are very narrow on the water for an RV with slides!! It was very quiet, the campground was 3/4 empty and our neighbors were nice, which was great due to close quarters. We took our kayak out everyday and enjoyed the area for this purpose. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will camp here again. It would be nice if the prices were lower, this is my only complaint We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA in a Motorhome.

Long Key State Park, Long Key, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are all ocean view. They are narrow, sandy and very clean. Watch out for the ants! For the money this is by far one of the best places to stay in the Keys. We camped here on our way down to Key West and enjoyed it. We'll be back next year! We camped at Long Key State Park in a Motorhome.

Anastasia State Park, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $25.00

This park is great for going to the beach, bike riding, kayaking and just taking a walk thru the campground. The sites are big and private and mostly with shade. We camped at Anastasia State Park in a Motorhome.
