Powderhorn Campground, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Passport rate for one night in a travel trailer. Would stay again, pull throughs, quiet, hookups readily available. I did have trouble finding it, my GPS didn't cooperate, so I called for directions. I left this review as it's been awhile since someone left one. We camped at Powderhorn Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed in a pull through site at $17 Passport rate. Looks to be a newer park: clean, spacious. Friendly and efficient staff. No highway noise. Very nice park. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Oakwood RV Resort, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed on a Monday with the Passport rate for a pull through. A well kept park with friendly office staff. You can hear road traffic as Texans like their trucks loud. It's a very nice park. Will return. We camped at Oakwood RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Buck Creek RV Park, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

$27 for 30 amp. Looked like 50 sites to us, however we had no problem getting a site, there were many available on a Thursday. It's a no frills park, but clean with large sites and wide roads. There are trees, but not real big trees. Traffic noise wasn't bad as it's a quarter of a mile from the interstate. The cost seemed high but when you compare it to other local parks it's in line. When traveling we find many parks over priced, that's why we try to support Passport parks. We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tower Campground, Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Agree with all the preceding reviews. The owner or manager was extremely courteous and helpful. The only thing I would add is that one of two showers is combined with the only toilet. Also expect some airplane and traffic noise. Would return. There is a rate discount if doing business with Alternative Resources. We camped at Tower Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Time Out RV Park, Chickasha, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

$11 is the Passport rate. At this time the park is mostly longer term visitors. I counted 3 or 4 sites available for the short term. It's a nice small and clean park, fairly quiet. A definite place to stay for a night or short term. Would definitely return. We camped at Time Out RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Meramec Valley Campground, Cuba, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at Passport rate. The park reminds me of a Corps park, rustic. It offers many amenities but because of the time of year they may not be ready for the summer. Saw 2 pools, teen center, adult center, pavilion, tennis courts, lodge/office. In it's day it must have been quite the place. The front desk doesn't handle one nighters very well. The park was quiet and dark. A good place for a walk. Would stay again. We camped at Meramec Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed at the Passport rate for 5 nights. A nice park with some site additions in progress. Has very friendly and helpful staff. Restrooms and showers are in good shape. However I would probably try another park when we return. Just returning to fulltimer after a 3 year break. We camped at Ozark Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed at the Passport rate. Only 30amp available at the overnight sites. Agree with previous reviews. The park is mostly seasonal sites, but well maintained, as are the nightly sites. Had minimal interaction with the staff. Would stay again. We camped at Timber Trails Campground in a Travel Trailer.

$18 was the Passport rate. Stayed for one night, would consider a longer stay if visiting the area. Lots of large trees offering shade. Restrooms and showers are clean. A very nice park with gravel pull-through sites and concrete patio. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Wrangler RV Ranch & Motel, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 9 weeks at the monthly rate of $450, and a weekly rate of $183. I read the other reviews and can't deny them, however I found the park OK or we wouldn't have stayed as long as we did. It's not that they don't try to keep up the park, because their frequently working. Everyone has a different standard. The owner and help are very friendly and helpful. If you compare this park to the ones on the west side of town, it's not too bad. Would stay here again. We camped at Wrangler RV Ranch & Motel in a Travel Trailer.

Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed as a Passport member for 16.50 plus tax. Because of it's distance from I25 I would consider this more of a destination park. The park is beautiful and well kept. Would stay again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
