Campground was clean and we had no trouble backing into our spot. We had deer about 4 feet from our picnic table every morning, which my kids loved. There is not a lot to do other than the diamond mine. The playground (an important thing to me since we have small boys) was very small and inadequate. It was behind the showers/bathroom too and there was not much room to run around and play. Trees surround the campsites so I felt a bit confined. We had planned to stay 5 nights but had done it all and were bored after two and went home. Everyone should try the diamond thing once, but it is hard work! Overall good experience my family just needs a bit more to do that just sit around camp. We camped at Crater of Diamonds State Park in a Travel Trailer.
