Rate reflects a monthly rate which is very generous. Can't say enough about the management. They and the owner cares about the people. I agree with all the other comments except for the person who commented that the park was primarily for full timers. Not so. We have been here a month and the windmill project workers have departed. There are nearly 1/2 of the sites available. This park is certainly on our list for return visits.

This park has had some bad reviews in the past. The dusty roads have been fixed with a spray. The ant hills are still here, but don't see a lot of ants. We put stuff out and it is gone, so it is working. We found a site that has full hookups and still can get satellite with a portable dish. Lots of trees. Power & water are fine. Very few people here during the week. Office staff is all business, but OK. Workers are friendly and helpful. Park is not near any large city, so we probably wouldn't stay here again. Grand Rapids and Muskegon are 50 miles away.

Friendly staff, but I was a little disappointed based on other reviewer's comments. We changed to a pull through due to the weather. The site we were assigned was the only one available and we had to disconnect our auto to get level. This part of the park is new and has 50 amps. But they should have graded the area better.

This may a nice campground, but right now it is closed due to flooding. The problem is you don't know this until you get there because the phone number currently is a fax number and the website doesn't work. Fortunately, we were heading East and the Governor's Inn campground was less than an hour away.

Quaint older park right next tow Hwy 70. Lady owner/manager extremely friendly. Can accept bigger rigs with selected sites. Rates lower for month or week. Park dominated by friendly Texas RVers in summer. Great place to stay in the summer at 7000 ft altitude. Close to Race Track. Owner's son very helpful with our awning problem. Would recommend this park but call 2-3 months ahead to reserve space.

Nice park. Very friendly owner/managers. There is no shade, but has excellent electric and great restrooms/showers. Only issue is grey water usage for rigs with a washer, as they have to haul waste for disposal. Temperature was in the 90's during July, so wouldn't stay here again in that timeframe. Located at a 4500 ft altitude.

This park is just as advertised by other reviews. Since we are self contained, the lack of showers and restrooms was not an issue. Nice quiet park. Management was very helpful as we found out we had a reservation with the EXACT same name, but in West Texas. The manager of this park actually called the number we had to verify the discrepancy. She was very helpful. Since this was the 4th of July weekend, I was worried that we would not have a spot. The park here accommodated us. I would highly recommend this park for that reason. Only negative is that the voltage in the park is around 110 at the 3 sites I checked. I have a voltage booster, so it was not a problem for me. Mostly 5th wheels are here that look like they are fairly permanent residents. Great place for staying for a few days to visit the surrender place for the civil war.

This campground is nice and quiet about 8 miles outside of Salisbury, NC. We paid $9 + $1 for 50 amp service through Adventure Outdoor Resorts. There are only 3 50 amp sites up on top of campground. The only negative with this place is the dirt/gravel roads to get to your site. Go slow. The manager is very friendly and tried to help when we had a rig problem. There is no RV mobile service in the area. Formerly the Western Horizon Park which is now under lease to a new owner. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

5 Star RV Park

This is a nice park. It is quiet except for local car traffic. The park is 2.5 miles south of I-20. Local road and scenery to the park make you wonder about the RV park, but it is very clean and manager is very friendly and easy going. The park takes all discounts. We stayed 4 nights. There are 11 or 12 pull-through sites. We would stay there again.
