AOK Campground and RV Park, Saint Joseph, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

You drive down this washboard dirt road before you get to the campground. They say they have cable but only in a select few sites so bring your sat dish or be prepared to watch 1 channel. The Wi-Fi is very weak (they told me the antenna was mounted on the back of the owners house) so I had to walk close to his house to use it. The sites were not level. They do have a pool and a pond that I saw some folks fishing in. This is one of the worst campgrounds I have stayed at and will not return. Be aware! We camped at AOK Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sunset Motel & RV Park, Alliance, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We used our Passport America so the rate was 1/2 off. This has the be the noisiest campground I have ever stayed in ever. The trains went on all night long. Then the garbage truck had to make his run at 6:30 AM and had to shake the container at least 10 times and then slam it to the ground for a finale`. They did have a nice pool and a hot tub (set at 94 degrees). The showers were nice but the noise was a deal breaker. Do not stay here unless you are hearing impaired or can sleep thru 100's of train whistles and engine noise during the night. We camped at Sunset Motel & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The office staff were nice. The laundry room has 2 washers and 2 dryers so if you have a lot of laundry wait for another campground. Spaces are tight. We were woke up at 6:30 in the morning by our next door neighbors cranking up their diesels and 4 wheelers getting ready to leave. There were alot of open spaces where the campers could have been spread out instead of bunched together. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Travel Trailer.

Bluffview RV Park (formerly Mom and Pops RV Park), Farmington, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay at Mom & Pop's RV Park. Pop is an interesting gentleman with lots of advice on where to go and see. He is a retired Chief from the USAF so we had lots of stories to share. If you are in the Farmington area I highly recommend staying there. We only stayed for 3 nights and was offered to stay the 4th night for free. We were on a schedule so could not take him up on the offer. We camped at Bluffview RV Park (formerly Mom and Pops RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Grants / Cibola Sands KOA, Grants, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, friendly park. I broke a sewer cover and walked over to the store to see what they had. There were 3 types to choose from and was reasonably priced. The host/management was very friendly and helpful. I found it a good place to stop over and spend the night. We camped at Grants / Cibola Sands KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, accessible, friendly park. Don't expect to do much shopping as there is nothing available outside Dollar General. Cheapest place to buy fuel was Allsups which was about .5 mile west of campground. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
