Beaches at Pinecone Park, Killaloe, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean park and friendly owners on site. Only real problem with this park, is the poor wiring on west side. Could not run air conditioning after being charged for 30 amp service. We left early and will take our own generator if we go back. New owners are trying to keep all happy, but will have to do some up-grading of the electrical system to keep people coming back to an otherwise very nice park! We camped at Beaches at Pinecone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Silver Lake Provincial Park, Maberly, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean, quiet campsite. Roads and sites well looked after, good swimming at there sandy beach. Quiet time is at 11:00 and is enforced by the park security officer. Some roads are paved other are gravel but not dusty! Was there in long weekend in July, park was full but did not get that crouded feeling. Would go back again! We camped at Silver Lake Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived and were welcomed by the manager. Were told to go to the recomended site and have a look around. Site was clean, wide and long, with lots of shade. This set the tone for the rest of the stay! The park was well taken care of, roads smooth, grass cut showers and bathrooms clean, lots of hot water. Park is pet friendly We camped at Black Bear Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
