Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Great location if you want to see Harpers Ferry. New big rig sites are not level and the roads are very tight . I was told the park is under new management so there is potential for improvement . Park employees were very nice and helpful. We camped at Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA in a Motorhome.

Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA, Bar Harbor, Maine

Very nice campground. Some of the nicest people both working and camping we have met since camping. We had a really nice site looking out over the water. They have some nice activities for the kids. Outdoor movies, pancake breakfasts etc... Great location to all activities. We will definitely be back. We camped at Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA in a Motorhome.

Bayley's Camping Resort, Scarborough, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has a lot of nice amenities. Good pools, playgrounds, restaurant, bakery etc... The park is also very nicely located to the local tourist spots. But... I coudn't wait to get out of the place!! We have never been so tightly wedged into a campsite in years of camping. Our site was next to the arcade and air conditioner. People use this as a path to cut through our site. Our neighbor was so close we could not put the awning out. The traffic behind the site was not much different than the turnpike we came in on. Getting out of this place with our forty foot RV was a real test of driving skills. To be fair, I did see some larger sites in the park, but not by much. Would hesitate to go back. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We camped at this park many times , the last being the spring of 2005. This park is very basic, not a lot for kids . With some money this could be a very nice park, it has a nice location to Williamsburg. The park is clean . We camped at Williamsburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Williamsburg KOA, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2005 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We have camped here many times, only for the fact that there is a lack of good campgrounds in the Williamsburg area. There is not much for kids to do here, the pool is ok, playground is small and old and the arcade is pathetic, most of the games were broken. This would be a nice campground if the owner came out of his upstairs office and put some money and effort into the place. Good location to Williamsburg. We camped at Williamsburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Normandy Farms, Foxboro, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: September, 2004 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here in July of 04, and again in Sept of 04. We found the campground to be in great shape, the facilties were super and the people very nice. The security of the grounds were the best we have seen, you use a card to enter the grounds. The only improvements needed would be more fifty Amp sites. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.
