Bean Pot Campground, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground, a little over a mile off the freeway. We were in a 42-foot rig, towing, and had no problem getting to and out of our site. VERY quiet. A little run-down but no problem. Would go back there anytime. We camped at Bean Pot Campground in a Motorhome.

Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground, Yuma, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived here and met the new owners (bought it 3 years ago.) Very helpful, provided lots of info on the area, and guided us to our site which was a brand new flat concrete site. There are 7 of them on the upper level and more are being poured on the lower level. It is so obvious that they are really trying to make this a nice park. They deserve our support. Free Wi-Fi at 5.5MB download and 3.9 upload. Fabulous. Plans are underway to revamp the bathrooms, etc. Will return here as often as we travel this route. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Parkway Village Community, Jackson, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is NOT an RV park. 90%+ are mobile homes and the layout is for mobile homes. Happens to be the only half way decent place in the area to stay. Overnight is OK but there it ends. Camped in a 42 foot towing a car - tough to get around - won't be back. We camped at Parkway Village Community in a Motorhome.

Second time here. Great place. Quiet, convenient, and well maintained. Glad to be here. Too many reviewers are picky. This place is great. Will come here again. 42' coach, towing and site was more than enough. We camped at Hickory Hill Campground in a Motorhome.

Scandia RV & Mobile Park, Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is clean and orderly. Fairly quiet at night. That's the good news. Not really any place to walk the dog. Very crowded with no private space. Rigs are side to side and butt to butt. Would stay here again but will look elsewhere. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Motorhome.

Goodland KOA, Goodland, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA is a gem! We arrived in the afternoon and checked in with the very nice couple that runs the park. Everything was well taken care of and looked good. Swam in the clean pool and enjoyed the afternoon outside. The couple is Polish and makes cabbage rolls and another dish - will deliver them to your site. In the morning, she cooks pancakes, bacon, sausage and biscuits & gravy at a very reasonable price. Will stay here whenever possible. We camped at Goodland KOA in a Motorhome.

Laramie KOA, Laramie, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA is almost on the freeway. In checking in, 3 KOA employees were outside joking around and ignoring the job at hand. When checked in, I was handed a map with our site marked. I walked outside, and the 3 employees (with their golf carts) ignored us. I guess they were too busy talking to care about a client. We got to our site which was very narrow (I had to break a tree branch so my slide wasn't damaged), grass was weeds, and the water did not work. (I had to run an extra hose to the next site.) I would never come back here! We camped at Laramie KOA in a Motorhome.

Victory RV Park and Campground, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a gem. Friendly help and assistance, well maintained, and very clean. The route in from the freeway is a bit weird but that is the GPS routing. Stayed one night and would return. Going to be a very quiet night - far from the freeway. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Recreation Plantation RV Resort (55+ park), Lady Lake, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here to consider a winter stay-over next year. Was very disappointed in the look of the park. A resort? Not in any way. Sites were tight on each other, no landscaping to speak of, and a minimal amount of grass. Noise from the road and sand made this a not special place. Will look elsewhere. We camped at Recreation Plantation RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
