Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort, Hardeeville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. We were here for a week. Several places and things to do in the area.

The staff was very polite and the camp host did a great job picking up after others. The major drawback for me was their Wi-Fi service, if you could get on it was very, very slow. Plenty of cable channels to pass the time at night though. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Jolly Roger Travel Park, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We have always stayed at an RV resort approximately 45 miles further south but they have become very proud of their resort and have priced themselves out of our wallets. So, for a change we decided to stay here at Jolly Roger Travel Park. We found it to be very nice and quite and affordable. We had one of the sites on the sea wall. The only problem is once our fifth wheel was parked, the lot was not large enough for our tow vehicle. We will be back again!!!!! We camped at Jolly Roger Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Finn Road Park Campground, Essexville, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. But way away from the interstate. Not a whole lot to do here.

Concrete pads, 50 amp and sewer. Well maintained. Be sure you have extra water hose because on some sites you have to share the same fixture with your neighbor. I had approx. 40' distance to get water. We camped at Finn Road Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tiki RV Park & Campground, Saint Ignace, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Great little park. Very clean. North woods feeling. Pleasant campers. We stayed 3 nights. Great for my wife and I. Very convenient for trips to Mackinaw island.

But if you have children, you may want to consider Mackinaw City. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

2 Rivers Campground, Carrollton, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Great little park. We were there 2 nights in August 2016. There are 33 spots, all concrete and level. There were only 4 other campers there when we were.

There is no cable TV, and the Wi-Fi is almost nothing, very iffy.

Short walk down to the rivers, and nice county town. Great barge watching on the Ohio River.

Most all are pull-thru, but we choose a back end that backed up to the Kentucky River. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Florida Springs RV Resort and Campgrounds, Bonifay, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice and quiet campground. we stayed there for two nights. The lots are fairly level and gravel. Several spots were shaded which was nice. Great cable TV, and we had no problems getting decent wifi. We would stay there again

The only drawback is Bonifay, FL. is one of those little towns that seems to have been passed up during a growth spurt. Not a whole lot to do in the area. We camped at Florida Springs RV Resort and Campgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Campgrounds of the South, Gulfport, Mississippi

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 7 days here. WiFi was not good, spotty. Also for cable they gave you a box to hook up. I could never get ours to work, so carried back to office. We were to leave Thursday but our drive through site was flooded in by a severe storm and we were not able to leave for all the flooding and mud.

Not close to the beaches or casinos. We camped at Campgrounds of the South in a Fifth Wheel.

Goldcoaster RV Resort, Homestead, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

Overall, this park was clean, well maintained, and pleasant. We were a little shocked at the very narrow site we had to back into, given the narrow streets and abundance of many wider sites around the park. We found out later that had we called the park directly and not the reservations call center, a more appropriate site would have been made available. We could not use PPA as the Nascar race was that weekend. We will probably return as this park is close to Miami Homestead Speedway. We camped at Goldcoaster RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

E.G. Simmons Regional Park, Ruskin, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The park was great. Large lots. We stayed on the east, or older section. We chose a back in site on the canal, but could not enjoy because of the "nosee'ems". No fault of the park. We were able to see some Manatee's there which were pretty neat. We would have no problem staying there again. We camped at E.G. Simmons Regional Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Santee Lakes Campground, Summerton, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice shaded lots. Ground cover is dirt with gravel roads. Very quite when we were here in May. Probably 75% of campground is permanent sites with RV's and built around decks. Staff at front desk was very friendly and nice. We stayed for three nights and we will be back. We camped at Santee Lakes Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Walkabout Camp & RV Park, Woodbine, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Several months ago we drove by when this campground was run by another name & owners. We didn't really like the looks of the place at the time. Several months later we heard about this young family buying the campground and doing work to improve the appearance of the place. We drove back by later and the appearance was amazing from what we had seen before. We spent the weekend there and enjoyed the surroundings and the pool. We will return again for another stay. We camped at Walkabout Camp & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bluewater Key RV Resort, Key West, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $96.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 7 nights and didn't want to leave. The facilities were unlike any that we've encountered: lush landscaping, wide roadways, Tiki Huts on each site, dock on the waterfront, gorgeous setting!!! The staff was friendly and most informative about things to see and do while in the area. Thanks to the host, we were able to spot some of the endangered Key Deer. He knew exactly where to send us! Each private site was large enough so that you didn't feel crowded and watched over. The pool was refreshing and clear. On the fun side, the Iguanas moved like Velociraptors! LOL! All great to watch while relaxing in the Tiki Hut or sitting on the dock. Did I say relaxing? Gee, that's something I don't do very often. We'll be back next year! We camped at Bluewater Key RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Southern Aire RV Resort, Thonotosassa, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

When we arrived and checked in, they had an usher lead us to our camp site. Once I was backed in they even provided blocking and leveling of our travel trailer. If we needed any wheel blocks they would have provided them also. The RV park was wonderful. Shady, very quite and very clean. We have raised three children, and we now have a grandchild, but we didn't see or hear any children during the four days my wife and I were there. Most of the folks are there from December through April, have been staying there for several years, and even have their same slots they have always had. Then go back up North to their homes for the summer. We plan on making Southern Aire RV Park, one of annual stops also. Great place. We camped at Southern Aire RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Jekyll Island Campground, Jekyll Island, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We camped there July 24th through the 27th. We met friends from Tennessee and South Carolina there with there travel trailers and had a great time. Two of us had G-28 and G-29 that face each other. I'm not sure I would like that if I didn't know who they were. And the third party were three slots down. The campground very clean and very quiet. The summer months are good there, but in the winter, there are snowbirds there for extended stays and it is often hard to get a spot. We would recommend this to friends. We camped at Jekyll Island Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Red Top Mountain State Park & Lodge, Acworth, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Red Top Mountain towards the end of May, 2009. We had my Mom with us, who had never camped a day in her life. My wife and I had no idea if she would even like it. We had spot #28 up on a small hill over looking Allatoona Lake. What a breathtaking view. The campground is very clean and quite. My Mom could not believe how peaceful it was, and is willing to go there again. We will try to make it back more often. I give it two thumbs up. We camped at Red Top Mountain State Park & Lodge in a Travel Trailer.
